Furthermore, from obscuration arise two kinds of virtue. From non-obscuration, the maturation arises, only the virtue of being born. Three of one's own realm. When entering into meditative absorption, from the effort of virtue in the form realm arises, and also from the effort of the formless realm arises. When arising from meditative absorption, it is from the aftermath of the two uncontaminated ones. In the scriptures of the formless realm obscuration, it is not shown, from this seven minds arise, if it is the same as constant and ground, three of one's own realm. At the time of rebirth, form realm obscuration, two afflictions of the desire realm. When meditative absorption is afflicted by afflictions, the effort of virtue in the form realm arises. Just as seven arise from that, similarly, it also arises from seven, three of one's own realm. At the time of rebirth, two virtues of being born in the desire and form realms. The non-obscuration of the desire and form realms is not shown. Because it follows the mind of the ripening conduct. The mind of the learner is from four, that is, when entering into meditative absorption, the three virtues of the three realms and the three arising from effort, and constantly from the learner himself. From that there are five, that is, when arising from meditative absorption, the birth of the desire realm is clear, therefore that and the two arising from effort. The birth of the upper two realms is not clear, therefore it is not the mind of arising from meditative absorption, so the two arising from effort arise, therefore the three virtues of the three realms, constantly oneself, and at the time of meditative absorption, from the vajra samadhi of the learner arises the non-learner's knowledge of exhaustion. The mind of the non-learner arises from five, that is, when entering into meditative absorption, the three virtues of the three realms arising from effort, after the vajra samadhi of the learner, and constantly from oneself. From that, the mind arises from four, that is, when arising from meditative absorption, the two virtues of the three realms of the desire realm, and the two arising from effort of the upper realm, that is, three. Constantly the non-learner himself arises. When degenerating, it is not a learner, even if it is said to be obstructed by afflictions. If that is the case, the three obscurations of the three realms and the seven arising would be too much, if it is said like this. The learner and, the afflicted one will not arise immediately, if one does not arise from the non-learner, one will not degenerate, if one arises, one must arise with a virtuous mind, therefore the middle is obstructed by virtue. Third, those twelve can also be divided into twenty, because in the three realms, the virtue of being born and, the two virtues arising from effort are explained separately. That is to say, the virtue of being born does not depend on effort, is it in the intermediate state? Or the existence of birth in the formless realm?

The mind that obtains the near-attainment of meditative absorption. The three, hearing, thinking, and meditating, which arise from cultivation, are due to the habituation of cultivation. Thus, on top of the previous twelve, the virtuous mind is divided into two, so on top of the fifteen, add the result-born and the deportment, the place of craftsmanship, and transformation, etc. In the desire realm, they are divided into four types of non-specified, thus there are eighteen. In the form realm, there are three non-specified types excluding craftsmanship, thus there are twenty. Among them, the result is produced naturally by the power of karma, so there is no cultivation. The cultivation of deportment and craftsmanship arises from the five sense consciousnesses, namely seeing, hearing, etc. The result-born is the object of all realms, and all six consciousnesses have the knowing consciousness. The latter three, namely deportment, etc., are the four forms of color, taste, smell, and touch, and the five such as the sound of the place of craftsmanship, are the objects as appropriate. Since it is necessary to manifest and create with conceptual thought, it only arises in the mind consciousness. The cultivation of the transformation mind is the actual dhyana. There are other non-specified that are not included in these four minds, such as the body and eyes in the second, etc., and the deportment mind of an Arhat entering nirvana without remainder, which is also similar to the deportment, etc., the twelve are more pervasive. The necessity of dividing into twenty is that among the virtuous minds of the three realms, there are the innate virtue and the result-born, and the deportment has the death mind and the cultivation-born, while the other non-specified two do not have, etc., in order to understand these. Among the virtuous minds of the three realms, only the cultivation-born has the samadhi mind, the others do not. The two transformation minds of the desire and form realms. Only the two virtuous minds of one's own realm and the form realm, the cultivation-born, do not arise from others. In order to understand that the mind arising from emerging from samadhi is the two virtues of the desire realm, and the cultivation virtue of the upper realm. Examining the attainment of the twelve minds, the afflicted minds of the three realms are: the non-virtue of the desire realm and, the two obscurations. In the upper two realms there are two obscurations, namely four. From those minds of the desire realm, six are attained, from those of the form realm, six are attained, and from those of the formless realm, two are attained. That is, from the upper realm to the lower realm, and from the lower realm to the samadhi of the upper realm, and from the earth realm to detachment from desire, and the manifestation of the afflictions of the three realms and complete degeneration from the Arhat, and the cultivation of the root of virtue, these five are newly attained from what was not previously possessed. It is easy in the desire realm.
