In order for the holy Dharma to abide long, to extensively explain the Dharma, With my wisdom, explaining and studying the Dharma, making it sharper and sharper, cutting off the doubts of others, abiding in the Dharma myself, performing the deeds of holy beings, others will respect their words, proclaiming the nature of the four truths, that is, the two, conventional truth and ultimate truth, is of great significance. Furthermore, the nine aspects of a perfect Dharma speaker are: When a supreme bodhisattva teaches the Dharma, even if others refute, they do not utter harsh words, thus being gentle. Even if praise, respect, etc., are received, they are free from arrogance. When teaching the Dharma, they are not weary from fatigue, explaining without concealing examples, and fully explaining the meaning, thus being clear. They explain various meanings without repetition, explain in accordance with reason without contradicting valid means of cognition, and express words and letters that are widely known in the world, so that others can easily understand and obtain, abandoning the desire for gain and respect, thus being without contamination. Being skilled in all vehicles, they explain the meaning of all three vehicles, universally practicing, possessing such qualities, because they proclaim good meanings, they are called perfect speakers. Good speech, from "The speech of the Buddha's children," etc., to "is called perfect speech" has been explained. The speech of the Buddha's children, when teaching the Dharma, is not inferior or weak, not like a small voice that some hear and some do not, but is heard pervading all the retinue. Pleasant to hear, that is, the words are gentle, pleasing to the ear, and pleasing to the mind, is good. Well-spoken or beautifully spoken, that is, clear words that can understand the meaning. If words not commonly used in the world are spoken, others will not be able to understand, but if expressed in words and language commonly used in the world, the meaning can be understood, thus it is called widely known. Teaching in accordance with the disposition of the disciples, that is, how it is suitable or what is suitable, teaching in this way, it will enter their ears. Not looking for gain and respect, thus being without contamination or not relying on contamination. If it is too long, it will be tiring, thus the words are moderate in length and easy to understand, is harmonious. Similarly, vast, that is, when explaining extensively, being able to explain without end. In the sutra, it is said that there are eight qualities of speech.

The explanation is pervasive, good, clear, easy to understand, pleasing to the ear, not dependent (on others), consistent, and inexhaustible. As stated, it should be understood by combining it with the above. Not relying on gain and respect is a quality of the mind, but if there is gain and respect, one speaks and praises, and if there is no gain and respect, one does not speak and criticizes. Therefore, regarding these words, it should be explained from the perspective of not being tainted by that cause. There are also eight qualities of teaching the Dharma: namely, the essence is indicated in a concise manner, so it is easy to grasp the core meaning; similarly, those essences are explained in detail, so that a definite understanding of the meaning is gained; for the three types of disciples, each is taught the corresponding vehicle, which is to speak in accordance with the vehicle; the order of words, letters, and meanings is indicated without confusion, so it is easy to listen to; it is indicated with commonly known words and letters; it is indicated in accordance with the disposition of the disciples, how appropriate or as appropriate; it is to teach the Dharma of the noble path that necessarily arises from the three realms; and it is to teach the Dharma that is in accordance with the eightfold noble path. Such a Dharma, in short, is the speech of the supreme Bodhisattvas, and is called perfect writing. The qualities of writing in the sutras are: possessing words and letters of reason, following, corresponding, promising, consistent, in accordance, and perfecting the collection of skillful means. These eight qualities should be combined with the previous ones. That is: briefly indicate with words and letters of reason that possess the three valid cognitions; possess extensive explanations as indicated in the brief indication; follow in accordance with the vehicle; the truth is that the way of indicating words and letters is not confused, so there is nothing unpleasant to the ear, and gentleness is in accordance with the mind; the popular is the promise, that is, understanding it as it is; as appropriate is in accordance with that vessel; indicating the noble path is in accordance with Nirvana; because of consistency, and the perfection of the collection of skillful means are combined, skillful means refers to the seven types of individuals from stream-enterer to Arhat, and their path of seeing and path of cultivation is called the perfect collection. Where does it agree? It is said to be in accordance with the eightfold noble path, as explained in the Great Commentary. Secondly, the Dharma of the Buddha
