I should repeatedly think, I must practice the Dharma. Third, train the mind by contemplating various causes and conditions: In samsara, all beings, self and others, desire happiness and do not want suffering. Therefore, hoping for happiness, they strive day and night with body, speech, and mind to attain power, wealth, enjoyment, etc. However, due to many unfavorable conditions such as sickness and death, there is no time of accomplishment or satisfaction, and thus they will suffer. Now, I should completely abandon these and strive to engage in meaningful activities such as offering to the Three Jewels. Fourth, train the mind by contemplating that all actions are meaningless: All my actions in this life, such as subduing enemies, protecting relatives, and engaging in profitable business, and all the power, wealth, and enjoyment that seem like happiness and prosperity, are merely like good dreams during each sleep. In the morning, nothing will remain. Therefore, apart from the sacred Dharma, all other actions are meaningless and only bring the burden of suffering. I should turn my mind away from all the places, friends, and enjoyments of samsara, just as a dying patient does not worry about tomorrow's food. I should strive to receive the instructions of the holy Guru and practice them diligently. Fifth, train the mind by contemplating the qualities of the Buddha: Relying on this perfect human body, I must attain the supreme state of the perfect Buddha, who has exhausted all faults and perfected all qualities. To attain Buddhahood, I should follow the footsteps of the accomplished masters of the past, abandon this life, and practice diligently with hardship and perseverance in a secluded place. Sixth, train the mind by contemplating the Guru's instructions: The instructions of the holy Guru, which can eliminate beginningless obscurations in months and years, and can generate the qualities of the Buddha in just months and years, are like meeting the footsteps of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. What is the point of the activities of this life at this time? Therefore, I should diligently practice the instructions as the holy Guru has said. Seventh, train the mind by contemplating non-discrimination: As it is said, 'Discrimination is the great ignorance, the cause of falling into the ocean of samsara.' Therefore, I should abandon all thoughts of the past and future and abide in a state of non-discrimination. Eighth, train the mind by contemplating suffering: Contemplate the suffering of hell, experiencing unbearable heat and cold, and the suffering of hunger and thirst; contemplate the suffering of the pretas, tormented by thirst and unable to find water, and hunger and unable to find food; contemplate the suffering of animals, who are foolish and ignorant, and devour, beat, and despise each other; contemplate the suffering of humans, experiencing birth, old age, sickness, death, poverty, and strife; contemplate the suffering of the asuras, experiencing jealousy and strife; contemplate the suffering of the gods, experiencing downfall and the suffering of death. Thus, contemplating the suffering of the six realms, I should generate a mind that does not want suffering, and strive to abandon evil and practice virtue. Ninth, train the mind by contemplating impermanence of death: My life may end today, and there is no certainty that I will not die tomorrow. Therefore, I should practice the Dharma. Tenth, train the mind by contemplating the law of karma: Performing virtuous actions will bring the fruit of happiness, and performing evil actions will bring the fruit of suffering. Therefore, I should not do any evil and do as much good as possible, and practice the Dharma. Thus it is said.

In the past, due to conceptual thoughts, I have wandered repeatedly in the realms of samsara, enduring suffering. Now, in order to attain the unsurpassed Bodhi, I shall train in the non-conceptual Samadhi, so I think. In short, that much is enough. At this time, as stated in the Yangtig, the objects of meditation for the three non-conceptualities were also bestowed. Among them, first is training the mind in bliss-emptiness non-conceptuality: In the center of the body is the central channel, about the size of a medium arrow shaft, with the appearance of a clear, transparent, empty tube, standing straight from the crown of the head to four fingers below the navel. At its upper end, visualize a white ཧཾ་ (Tibetan: ཧཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: HUNG), with the nature of skillful means, about to drip; at the lower end, visualize a red ཨ་ (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A), with the nature of wisdom, about to pulsate. When inhaling, the red fire from the ཨ་ (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) fiercely blazes, touching the ཧཾ་ (Tibetan: ཧཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: HUNG) at the crown of the head, the stream of Bodhicitta pours down like rain, pervading the four chakras and all branch channels, visualizing bliss blazing. Visualize the upper and lower winds uniting, and in the heart, visualize a white, bright, and clear ཨ་ (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) syllable, and focus on it. Thus, the wisdom of emptiness, with bliss as the skillful means, will arise as non-conceptual. Second is training the mind in clarity-emptiness non-conceptuality: Exhale three times. When inhaling, visualize all external phenomena gradually dissolving into blue, merging with the sky, entering through the nostrils, and filling the body with light, focus on this, and hold the breath. Thus, the emptiness of clarity as skillful means will arise as non-conceptual. Third is training the mind in Dharmata non-conceptuality: Relax the body and mind, keep the eyes still, staring ahead, without thinking or contemplating anything, in a state of non-thought like the sky, relax naturally. Secondly, guiding from the path of skillful means of other secret mantras, training in wind-bindu: At this time, giving the empowerment of non-elaboration. The instructions are divided into: training in unattached wind, and training in attached bindu. Among them, the first is further divided into: training in five aspects: color, shape, number, movement, and vase breathing. First is training in color: On a comfortable cushion, keep the body straight in the seven-point posture, exhale stale air. At one's own brow center, visualize the essence of all winds gathered, a white bindu, about the size of a mustard seed, white and shimmering, focus the awareness on it single-pointedly, and meditate.
