As the four years gradually come to completion, contemplate that the stainless bliss arises in body and mind. Finally, the Lama dissolves into light and merges into oneself, and dedicate the merit. This is the root of blessings, therefore, it is said in the Vajra Path that it should be practiced in all session breaks. Especially for the sake of opening the door of blessings, it is said that practicing this at this time is the custom. At that time, during the session breaks, contemplate one's own body as a blue Vajra radiating light, and as will be explained later, by assuming the posture of the three-pointed Vajra, one will be protected. Secondly, regarding the preliminaries of the path, from the great practice instructions called "The Lamp that Clarifies the Target," firstly, if one has faith in naked awareness, aversion to bad philosophies may arise. Therefore, one should first train in cultivating the mind of enlightenment. Then, when the warm signs of mind training are established, guide them onto the path with the instructions of other secret mantras. Divide individuals into those with attachment and those without attachment, and train in the channels, winds, and bindus. Having established that, one should turn away from the awareness of the instruction of cutting off the stream of memory. As it is said, there are three: training in the mind of enlightenment, training in the secret mantra's method of channels, winds, and bindus, and training in the instruction of cutting off the stream of memory. The first is that for each of the seven mind trainings, there are three aspects: mind training, the necessity of training, and the measure of accomplishment. As it is said, one should know it extensively, like the guidance of integrating the seven meanings of mind training. Here, only the condensed meaning of the words is spoken. Among the seven, the first is to train the mind by contemplating impermanence, that is, to contemplate the changes of the external seasons, the decay of the internal aggregates, and the death of the secret old and young, that all are not exempt from death, and since there is no certainty as to when one will die, one should strongly contemplate when I will die. The second is to train the mind by contemplating temporary and ultimate happiness, that is, the results of actions, virtue, and sin will ripen into happiness and suffering, therefore, one should not be mistaken in accepting and rejecting virtue and sin, and if it is not connected with the path of liberation, even if one enjoys the happiness and wealth of samsara, it is only a temporary appearance of happiness, and it will not last forever and will be destroyed. Ultimate happiness is only unsurpassed enlightenment.
