In the state of my mind, undifferentiated, boundless, and inexpressible, Whatever arises, unmade and natural, cheréwa! The way of bliss, shiggé gé, traceless senggé gé! Wide open, ché lé, boundless, rest relaxedly! Outer, inner, and in-between, appearing like the sky! At that time, the essence of the four kāyas is manifestly realized! As it is said, it is like the appearance of the object in the mind, or the appearance of the mind in the object. Whatever arises is the same. By gazing intently at whatever arises, like the moon's reflection appearing in a pond, where the water and the moon's reflection are inseparable, the appearance ceases there, and here, free from the stain of grasping, the mind and phenomena are inseparable, self-luminous, naked, and a clear awareness remains. In that state, do not engage in any further searching or investigation, but look cheré in a natural and relaxed manner. In the way of bliss, break it down shiggé gé. Abandon it tracelessly senggé. Spread it out widely chammé. In the boundless state like the sky, relax and release it in its own place. At that time, the appearance of the objects of the six outer aggregates is also without grasping, remaining self-luminous and nakedly clear. In one's own mind, without the gathering and scattering of thoughts, one is also naked and bare. Remaining in its own place in between, it is not bound by antidotes, but is without interval, haréwa. It is not changed by good or bad objects. It is not obscured by grasping. Without the mind of rejection and acceptance entering, sallé senggéwa, that aspect of awareness is definitely recognized and maintained in a thorough and naked manner. This is the special characteristic of Dzogchen. That is also how it is, the original purity, the naked, self-arisen wisdom, the realization of the intention of self-abiding exhaustion of phenomena. Transforming samsara into dharmakāya, the result of being free from the duality of hope and fear, the essence of the four kāyas, is manifestly awakened. That is also how it is, although aware, it is not distracted. Although clear, it is not grasped. Although not thinking, the radiance of awareness, the appearance of objects is not interrupted, so it is free from the three minds of the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm. When remaining in equipoise, the aspect of non-thought, the emptiness that remains naturally without the mind gathering and scattering, is calm abiding. Awareness is clear, pure, naked, and senggéwa. The aspect of appearance that is clear is vipassanā, that is, meditating in union. Gazing intently at the essence of the naturally abiding state of peace, the one who looks rests the object of observation with the right amount of tension and relaxation. This was spoken in ordinary language to those of inferior intellect by the kind mother of the wheel. Although it is said, in order to understand the essential meaning, one should know the condensed essence in this way: By gazing nakedly at whatever arises in the mind.
