Secondly, the path: among the three introductions through the aspects of view, meditation, and action, the first is the introduction through the aspect of view. As it is said in the Extensive Play of Illusion: "All these phenomena that appear in this way are not phenomena with substance, but only the self-aware, luminous wisdom without conceptualization." And in the Gur Tantra: "Outside of the precious mind, there is no Buddha and no sentient being." And Saraha said: "The mind itself is the only seed of all." As it is said, all these phenomena that appear and are experienced are like dream appearances, merely appearing from the confused imprints of one's own mind. Apart from that, there is not even a particle of truly established existence in the external world. Even for a single object, due to the different karmas of the six realms and other different beings, the appearances are distinct and without limit. And although there is no coming and going between object and mind, the mind experiences the appearance of objects. Therefore, it becomes certain that all appearances of objects are the magical displays of the mind. Therefore, by examining and analyzing this clear expanse of space, just as there is nothing to grasp other than the opening of appearances such as birth, cessation, abiding, shape, and color, and it is impossible to identify "this is it," when one's own mind turns inward and examines and analyzes, nothing is seen anywhere, and nothing is established in any way, so it is emptiness. Because there is nothing to grasp, it is free from elaboration. Because it does not transcend the nature of all phenomena, it is primordial. Because it is not stained by the dirt of the intellect, it is primordially pure. Because it is not bound by the clinging of experience, it is primordially liberated. Without thought, without speech, without abiding, without object, without going, without coming, seeing naked awareness in the empty-clear, objectless state, free from all extremes of thought, memory, and elaboration, and maintaining that natural state without any artificial fabrication is the introduction to the wisdom of equanimity, free from elaboration, like the sky. As it is said in the Sutra of the Thirty-Three: "Son of the gods, the three realms are only mind, and that mind is formless, invisible, unimpeded, non-discriminating, like an illusion. Even if one were to completely search for the mind with the nature of mind, it cannot be found, because the mind that searches for the mind cannot be found. Because the mind is not found, all phenomena are not found." And in the All-Creating King Tantra:

Because the mind cannot look at the mind, abide as it is, just as it cannot be seen even when looking! As stated in the Guhyagarbha Tantra: The nature of mind, which is without root, is neither male nor female, nor hermaphrodite. It is without characteristics, not a lineage, not a color, not a shape, not a place, and not anything. As stated in the Devarabjamsutra: The nature of mind, which is without root, cannot be found by searching, and has no identifiable characteristics. It is naturally in the state of emptiness, in its original state. It is inexpressible, self-born wisdom. As stated by the master Garab Dorje: The nature of mind is originally Buddha. The mind has no arising or ceasing, like the sky. And also in the root text: Thus, by examining this mind nature carefully, it is unborn, does not abide, does not cease, has no color and no shape, its essence is free from identification. When you realize it is like the inexpressible sky, in that very state, relax effortlessly. From the state of such abiding, whatever wandering thoughts of conceptualization arise, look at them greatly in their own face, with effortless awareness, and relax in the state of no rejection or acceptance. The thoughts and conceptualizations will vanish without a trace, and dissolve into the ground of arising sensations, which is self-arising and self-liberating, like waves dissolving into water. As it is said: By releasing intensely, it vanishes in the place of seeing. As stated in the Secret Sound Tantra. Also, in meditative equipoise, without corrupting the naked wisdom of awareness-emptiness with clinging, relax openly in self-luminosity. In post-meditation, whatever appears is the nature of emptiness. Although empty, the door of appearance does not cease and appears. Although it appears, it is empty of truth, and by knowing it to be like a wheel of illusion or like the appearance of a dream, attachment, aversion, and afflictions are liberated. As stated in the Samadhiraja Sutra: Like an illusion, a mirage, a city of gandharvas, like a mirage, like a dream, the object of meditation is empty in its own nature. Know all phenomena to be like that. Thus, in post-meditation, recognize wisdom as being like an illusion, without discrimination. Thus, since that awareness, which is free from elaboration and without identification, appears as the unceasing play of manifestation, like an illusion, the union of the two truths, inseparable from meditation and post-meditation, is not a way of appearance, but a way of being or the reality of being. Therefore, generate compassion for sentient beings who do not understand this. The resonance of compassion is the nature of being free from elaboration and without identification.
