In order to purify the habitual tendencies of the three realms of existence, it is necessary to request the three empowerments of result, power, and initiation in the Great Blissful Pure Land of Oddiyana, which is the wisdom body or empty form body. Therefore, one goes there and attains enlightenment through the fivefold manifestation of perfect enlightenment. Then, at the summit of Mount Meru, in Tushita Heaven, in the Trayastrimsa Heaven, on the terraces of Mount Meru, that is, in the abode of Vaishravana, Janglochen, as well as by the seashore, in southern Oddiyana, and in eastern Zahor, the emanation body appears in the form of the wisdom body. To the pure retinue who are able to see the wisdom body, the disciples to be tamed by mantra, he taught the secret mantra tantras, including this Secret Essence. The Nyingma school itself believes that only the inner tantras of secret mantra were taught. The Sarma schools believe that the three outer tantras were also taught. He taught limitlessly. Later, for the sake of those to be tamed by the sutra path, he entered the body named the wisdom body, and at the Vajra Seat, under the Bodhi tree, he manifested the remaining deeds in a common appearance. Thus, the emanation body taught secret mantra to the three types of beings: gods, nagas, and humans. And in the self-manifesting Oddiyana, the sambhogakaya, the basis of emanation, taught secret mantra. These two are like the simultaneous appearance of a face and its reflection. Therefore, it is not the case that the latter, the state of the sambhogakaya, was abandoned, and only the former, the nirmanakaya, was performed. This is how the scholar Nyima Oser explained it in the extensive commentary. After the Teacher manifested the deed of attaining enlightenment in the human realm, while turning the common wheel of dharma, the way in which the sambhogakaya taught the Secret Essence Tantra in Oddiyana is as explained by Sgegpa Dorje in the Astrology. The Omniscient King of Dharma also agrees with the latter, that the Oddiyana itself, where the tantra was taught, is the place of enlightenment. Because it is not visible to others except for the self-manifesting retinue, it is the Great Blissful Oddiyana, that is, the Oddiyana of the sambhogakaya realm. And there are two Oddiyanas corresponding to it, the nirmanakaya Oddiyana. In the latter, there is also the Svabhavikakaya realm, known as the half-emanation sambhogakaya, like the realms of the five families. Since it is not located below the world of the pure celestial realms, two Oddiyanas are spoken of. It is not the Oddiyana among the five pure places. Therefore, above it, the Oddiyana is extremely beautiful, a place where both the ordinary and noble beings of the Mahayana exist.

Those explanations do not contradict each other at all, because the realm of the Tathagata's activities of miraculous manifestation is inconceivable and arises effortlessly. This is what the wise lamas of the previous lineage said. In the explanation in Spar-khab, it is only mentioned that the emanation body taught the common vehicle, and there is no clear statement that mantras were spoken. Based on this alone, some of the former ones believe that the emanation body only taught the common vehicle in the human realm and never taught the tantras of Mahayoga at all. This is only because it did not show that it was spoken, but it is unreasonable to say that it was not spoken. Because in the third chapter of the root tantra itself, regarding the activities of the emanation body, among the four methods of taming, such as body and great merit, in the context of taming with speech, it says "the unsurpassed vehicle," etc., so it is contradictory. In Akanishta, the way the enjoyment body speaks the secret mantra is the main direct teaching of the first chapter, so both the way the enjoyment body and the emanation body speak are clear in the first and third chapters of the tantra itself. Secondly, regarding the general classification of the three transmissions, and distinguishing the definitions of each, there are two parts. The first part is: In the "Ocean of Explanatory Tantras" it says: (1) Buddha, (2) Bodhisattva, (3) Yogi. In order, (1) intention, (2) awareness, (3) ear-transmission, is the ultimate clarifier. Thus, there are three. The meaning of the three secret mantra transmissions is also present in the new translation of the outer tantras, but the terminology of the early translation is used in conjunction with Dharma terms, which is a unique meaning that the new translators do not have. Among them, the Buddha's intention transmission has two transmission methods: the same tantra and different tantras. For example, just as the single moon in the sky has the image of a rabbit, so all the water moons that appear are seen to be adorned with rabbits. Whoever teaches, the basis of the five families of beings, is the nature of the collection of all families, the sixth family, who himself learns the path of maturation and liberation, and realizes the ultimate suchness of the luminous, innate meaning of the tantra, is Samantabhadra himself. From him arise the retinue inseparable from the nature of the emanation, such as the five Sugatas, including Akshobhya, and the five consorts, including Buddhalochana, and the retinue of special awareness, such as Kshitigarbha, the eight male and female Bodhisattvas, i.e., peaceful and wrathful.
