Without elaboration. These are the four that are extremely without elaboration. Thus it is said. The completion stage depends on the upper and lower gates of the means path, and so on. The fifth fault is that without samadhi, even if the understanding of the view is good, it will not be accomplished. As it is said in the Lamrim: If there is no samadhi, like a boulder at the bottom of the ocean, even if you strive on the path for kalpas, it is meaningless, the essence is dried up. Thus it is said. The sixth virtue is that whatever is to be accomplished is accomplished by samadhi. As it is said in the Jewel Net: The main thing to be accomplished is the samadhi, this samadhi will make it mature. Thus it is said. The ninth, offering to the place has six parts. The first, the purpose, is to eliminate other obstacles, purify obscurations, make up for deficiencies, fulfill the wishes of the gods, complete the accumulation, and accomplish the benefit of oneself and others, such as actions and accomplishments. As it is said in the Heart Drop: Accomplish the benefit of oneself and others, be pleased and complete. Thus it is said. And as it is said in the Compendium: Offerings are made to complete the two accumulations. Thus it is said. The second, the nature of the entity, is the category of pleasing those who have become objects of reverence by honoring them with the three doors and by offering them objects. As it is said in the Heart Drop: The agent, the action, and the act are combined, which is the object that causes joy and satisfaction. Thus it is said. The third, the meaning of the word, is that the word offering (Sanskrit: Pūjā) comes from the preliminary of all virtuous deeds, so it has the meaning of arising, and again and again it gives rise to joy, and it is offered in a place of reverence, so it is an offering. As it is said in the Compendium: Offering is made to the place. Thus it is said. The fourth, the types are, with the goal of the field, and with complete dedication, and with the goal of the fruit, and the difference of things. The first three are in order the supreme offering, and the offering that becomes the cause of liberation, all of which are transcendental, and the others are mundane. The fourth, the difference of things is inconceivable, but in short, The fourteen offerings of the peaceful and wrathful deities are summarized as follows: with respectful prostrations and mudras, Samantabhadra's four-legged foot bath is intertwined, nectar torma secret addition, remaining samadhi liberation and union, desirable qualities, musical instruments, songs, and wisdom. Thus it is said, how are they

Regarding the method of offering, from the Hevajra Tantra: The Vajra Goddess, exceedingly beautiful, each holding their respective implements, extensively emanates throughout the sky, and the implements dissolve into their own bodies as an offering. Thus it is said. The fifth fault is the opposite of the qualities to be explained, from the Heart Drop: Contrary to that, incomplete, distracted, one will lose vows, degenerate, and be separated from blessings. Thus it is said. The sixth quality is following the meaning explained for a purpose, from the root text: Possessing common and special qualities. Thus it is said. Tenth, binding recitation, mantra and mudra have six aspects, first, the necessity is to purify the two obscurations, and become the power of samadhi, thereby generating the ability to obtain activities and siddhis, from the Heart Drop: Purifying and increasing, for the sake of perfecting the five to be obtained. Thus it is said. Second, the essence has two aspects, first, the essence or characteristic of mantra is: the lineage that becomes powerful by the letters of skillful means and wisdom being assembled and blessed by the four accomplishments, from the Heart Drop: Letters assembled, four accomplishments, whatever is powerful. Thus it is said. Second, the characteristic of mudra is: the lineage that does not deviate from the deity's form, which is the complete four wisdom mudras. That also from the Heart Drop: Not deviating from the complete four, whatever appears, that is the essence. Thus it is said. Third, regarding sound and meaning, the word mantra comes from the Sanskrit word mantra. Man means mind or consciousness, and tra means the helper of protection, therefore mantra quickly protects the mind and consciousness, and blessings arise, from the Essence of Wisdom: Man is called mind, tra is said to be protection. Thus it is said. Mudra comes from the Sanskrit word mudra, which means symbol, it is holding and indicating, or because the seal is difficult to transgress, it is called mudra. That also from this same text: The mudra of the heart essence is difficult to transgress. Thus it is said. From the Tantra: Difficult to transgress as it is, indestructible, it is the supreme place of the king's mudra, it is the form of the symbol of the great self-nature, it is proclaimed as mudra. Thus it is said. Fourth, regarding types, there are mantra and mudra, the first, divided into common and specific. First, in general, there are three types of mantra: secret mantra, knowledge mantra, and dharani mantra. These are the nature of skillful means and wisdom, and their gateway is letters.
