In conclusion, summarizing the teachings: The foundation of qualities is the Pratimoksha vow, kept to the best of one's ability. Bodhicitta is a branch of mantra. Having received the ripening empowerments, protect the three vows like your eyes. Meditate on the generation stage, understanding the three seats as deities, and the completion stage with and without signs. By gradually connecting through the practices of close conduct, in this life, at the time of death, or in the bardo, may you perfectly attain enlightenment in the realm of the Svabhavikakaya. Thus, all the meanings of the Buddha's teachings are included in the practice of the three vows. In this way, inspired by renunciation and the determination to be free from samsara, which are common to the Shravakas, take whichever of the eight types of Pratimoksha vows, which involve abandoning the four or possessing the four, and turn away from the misdeeds of body and speech. On top of that, for all sentient beings pervading the sky, although primordially pure, yet because they do not realize this, they engage in the causes and results of suffering, be inspired by unfeigned love and compassion. Generate the supreme Bodhicitta, which is the nature of aspiration and engagement for the sake of others, and train in the three trainings. Having thus tamed the mind-stream with both Pratimoksha and Bodhicitta, enter the four mandalas of cause and support, and in order to establish the interdependence of the four bodies, having received the four empowerments, become one who possesses the three vows. Protect each of the vows with care, like the apple of your eye, knowing the key points of what is to be abandoned and what is to be done. In order to ripen and liberate, enter the two stages of the path. That is, in each of the four mandalas that serve as the basis, knowing that the Tathagatas and their consorts, the Bodhisattvas and their consorts, the Wrathful deities and their consorts, the three seats are complete, purify impure appearances into the expanse by recognizing what is to be purified and what purifies, and meditate on the wheel of the mandala, the generation stage. And the completion stage, the stage of self-blessing with signs, the means of striking the vital points of the channels, winds, and bindus, and as the seal of those, the self-arisen wisdom of no signs, recognizing the mind-essence as luminosity, meditate well on the completion stage of that very suchness. By practicing the close conduct, the three of with elaboration, without elaboration, and extremely without elaboration, if one's faculties are sharp, one will attain the body of union in this very life.

In the intermediate luminosity of death, the Sambhogakaya arises. Finally, in the Bardo, through the blessings of truth, from the pure lands of the Nirmanakaya, such as Abhirati, the Tathagatas, such as Vajra Akshobhya, along with their retinues, appear in order, and one sees their faces, receives empowerment, is prophesied to Buddhahood, and receives comfort, thereby becoming fully enlightened in the primordial realm, and the two benefits are completely fulfilled. As it is said in the Magical Net of Manifest Enlightenment: "For the sake of the power of the pure land, the five Buddhas and the five excellent Dharmas, the five complete wisdoms, go to the essence of complete enlightenment." Thus it is said. Having said that, the chapter is summarized. That is, it is divided into the order of generally explaining the three vows, which is the fifth chapter. That is to say, this treatise has five chapters, and this is the commentary on the fifth chapter, which explains how to practice the three vows without contradiction in the mindstream of one person. Here it is said: The means of abandoning harm to others and accomplishing benefit for others, the two vows of Pratimoksha and Bodhisattva, as the substance of the Mantrayana vows, transforming the place, returning to oneself, not mixing, the essence is one. Allowing and prohibiting are not contradictory, the way of practicing, from the well-explained words of good explanation, the accumulation of merit obtained, may the Bodhisattva who has obtained empowerment, and the co-emergent one who practices the Dharma together, the great bliss and glory, the blessed one become the protector! Third, there are four aspects to the completion of the explanation: the cause of writing is loving-kindness, the reason for writing, the way of writing, and the dedication of the merit obtained thereby. The first is: Nowadays, there are many who speak nonsense without having studied, without realizing even a particle of their own wisdom, in an age when the ignorant are satisfied with self-made rituals, thinking of the refuge, tears flow from the heart. That is to say, the wise and accomplished ones of the past have passed away, and their treatises are gradually declining, becoming even worse than the degenerate age, because of sadness over the decline of the teachings, compassion arises for the beings to be tamed. How is it? In this present age, one has not studied the treatises well through hearing and thinking, nor has one realized one's own wisdom through meditation and practice.
