Secondly, there are four, such as mirrors. As stated in the Ornament of Realization: "Mirror-like wisdom is unwavering, the three wisdoms rely on it: equality, discriminating, and accomplishing activities alone." Thirdly, the ultimate wisdom that directly realizes all phenomena as appearing like reflections in a mirror, appearing but without inherent existence; the ultimate wisdom that realizes the equality of samsara and nirvana in their lack of inherent existence; the ultimate wisdom that directly realizes all knowable phenomena individually without mixing; and the ultimate wisdom that accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings without exception are, in order, their characteristics. Therefore, these four are one in essence, but distinguished individually from different perspectives. Secondly, explaining other distinctions of qualities, there are three: explaining the samadhi of exhaustive phenomena, the samadhi of overcoming, and the samadhi of no afflictions. First, regarding the samadhi of exhaustive phenomena, as in "the nature of the ten exhaustions," there are three explanations: the physical basis, the mental basis, and the nature of the samadhi of exhaustive phenomena. First, the first eight must arise in a basis that desires to newly generate what was not previously present, because they must primarily arise from the power of hearing and contemplation. Those that have already been attained and abide also exist in the basis of form. The latter two actually arise in the basis of the three realms, because "what is called formless is of the three realms, the remaining dependent ones are born from humans." Secondly, the Compendium states that everything also relies on the actual mind of meditative absorption. According to the Treasury of Knowledge, the first eight rely on the actual meditative absorption, and the latter two rely on the mind of the formless realm. Thirdly, there are three: nature, etymology, and division. First, the self-condition relies on any actual meditative absorption, and with its own main object, it is the samadhi that can pervade all knowable objects, together with its concomitants. Secondly, because it can pervade and illuminate without interruption, it is called exhaustive phenomena. Thirdly, there are the samadhi of exhaustive earth, water, fire, wind, blue, yellow, red, white, space, and the samadhi of exhaustive consciousness, together with their concomitants. By this, the middle seven are inferred. The nature of the latter two, the self-condition relies on the actual mind of the formless realm and

Accompanied by the Samādhi (梵文) that can spread the sky, which is its own goal, to all knowable things, and relying on it, the consciousness that is its own goal can be spread to all knowable things, accompanied by the corresponding Samādhi. The second is, in terms of overcoming birth. In terms of overcoming Samādhi, there are three types: nature, classification, and determination. The first is that relying on the mind of the self-cause Samādhi, with the power of the previous colored liberation, the Samādhi corresponding to the ability to overcome other dharmas with the form that is its own goal. Secondly, there are two types of birth: shape and color overcoming. The nature of the first, what is the birth of overcoming? The Samādhi corresponding to the ability to overcome other dharmas with the shape of the form that is its own goal. Classification includes: colored form large, small, colorless form large, small, overcoming birth has four types. The nature of the first two, what is the shape overcoming birth? The yogi himself, in a way that appears in front of other beings to be tamed, with the large form that is his own goal. The small form can overcome other dharmas, etc., the same as before. The nature of the latter two, what is that? The yogi himself, in a way that does not appear in front of other beings to be tamed, with his own goals, etc. The nature of the second, what is the basis of classification? The yogi himself recognizes in an internal non-colored way, and the form of the color that is his own goal can overcome other dharmas, etc. The classification includes: blue, yellow, red, white overcoming birth has four types. The nature is in order, what is the color overcoming birth? The blue, yellow, red, and white that are their own goals can overcome other dharmas, etc. Moreover, the first two types of shape overcoming birth arise from the cause of liberation of colored viewing of form. The latter two arise from the cause of liberation of non-colored viewing of form. The four types of color overcoming birth are suffering.
