The way the tones are presented will be explained in the results section below. So, here, five short tones are arranged on the white side, and five long tones are arranged on the black side. Regarding this, the *Tantra of Tone Presentation* says, "The five long tones are on the white side, and will change three times." And, "The five short vowel letters are presented on the black side." If someone thinks this contradicts the above classification, there is no problem. Because the terms white side and black side are reversed, this is the tradition of this tantra. As that tantra says, "From the sixteenth to the thirtieth of the middle spring month, etc., is called the white side, the daughter of the mountain god. From the first to the fourteenth of that month is called the black side." Therefore, the second part includes two parts: doctrine and explanation. The first part is: "Then according to the chart..." and so on. The second part is: "This will also be explained a little." After making this promise, there are two here: the tradition of the star calculators and the tradition of the black calculators. The first has eight aspects: weekday, lunar constellation, encounter, Rahu, conjunction, action, burning day, dependent origination. First, the planets that appear in the chart show the current daily movement of the planets. Its enjoyment etc. shows the transition of dates. For example, the first day etc. explains the example of the date transition. Second, the lunar constellation etc. shows the enjoyment that the current constellation has already experienced, and its consumption in the sky etc. shows the enjoyment that will be consumed. Then, the latter etc. shows that when the enjoyment to be consumed is completed, the latter lunar constellation is complete. Therefore, the time of arrival etc. shows the content including the recording method. Third, the weekday sun stick etc. asks about the encounters of planets and constellations. In particular, if a constellation is used twice, then ask about the two encounters where one planet and two constellations meet. Fourth, Rahu etc. Fifth, after that, the combination etc. shows the recording method. The combination time etc. is the view of the Khenpo. Nowadays, astrologers believe that the combination that appears in the chart is the way to understand the deities. As mentioned in chapter five, this still needs further thought and research. Sixth, therefore, bad behavior is... etc., through these to understand.

This is to distinguish whether the methods of recording ephemeris, enjoyment, and calendrical calculations are correct, and to advise others to follow the standards of other people's astrology. The reason why the former people's manuscripts did not record other methods is that there are no bad consequences; drawing charts is to facilitate understanding, so the method of separate calculation is adopted. Otherwise, the five branches will be complete, and each result can be displayed separately, so it is better to record them. The seventh is about the calculation method of recording burning days using twelve suns, etc. In this way, the three methods including the above-mentioned accomplishment combination and death combination, although they are the combinations mentioned in the tantras, the reason why the former people's manuscripts separately recorded the burning days in this way is that they considered the combinations of other stars meeting, so they were classified. The eighth is dependent origination, and next is the method of calculating dependent origination. It is said that, among them, ignorance and other things are calculated in the month of the beginning of the year, and each month mentioned here has a sequence. Starting from placing these on the top, to wanting the dependent origination of each day, etc., although this past practice is a unique practice of the Glorious Protector Karma, as stated in the commentary of the second chapter, it has not been determined which of the sutras and treatises this method is based on, so it is hoped that wise people will rely on the Dharma to study it. Here, combined with my own understanding, I will briefly explain the calculation of dependent origination mentioned in the tantras. It is divided into three parts: first, roughly calculating one dependent origination in each month, and then moderately calculating one dependent origination in each half month. After explaining these two as extended meanings, the meaning of calculating one dependent origination in each day is explained. The first part is that in the Sagittarius month (Tibetan calendar November), there is the month of ignorance in the Aquarius palace, etc., although as stated in the second chapter, but which month is the month of the Aquarius palace? Just as the Aries palace is roughly the black month, the Aquarius palace also corresponds to the Sagittarius month, but in the commentary that the sun enters the Aquarius palace in the Sagittarius month, it is said: After the Sagittarius month, the day of entering Aquarius is ignorance. According to this statement, taking the waxing moon as the precursor, the Sagittarius month ends on the fifteenth day of the twelfth month of the Tibetan calendar, and Aquarius begins to enter from the sixteenth, so
