If actions are harmful, it is becoming a demon, so do not turn gods into demons, but make your own mind more tamed, and treat all beings as if they were your last thought. 'Do not seek suffering in the branch of happiness,' which means that if your relatives, friends, etc., die, do not think that their food, property, and books, etc., will belong to you. Do not seek the suffering of others in your own happiness. If other beings obtain happiness, you should be happy. Seventh, teaching the precepts of mind training: 'All yogas are done with one.' It means that the yoga of exchanging self and others, eating, dressing, walking, etc., all actions are practiced with one altruistic mind. 'All adversities are overcome with one.' It means that when practicing mind training, if adversities arise, such as mind training leading to worsening illness, demonic disturbances, slander from others, increased afflictions, unwillingness to practice, etc., you must think of concentrating all these undesirable sufferings on yourself and overcome them by exchanging self and others. 'Do two things at the beginning and the end.' It means that when getting up in the morning and going to bed at night, at the beginning, think that today you should regard yourself as lighter than others, cherish others, and maintain mindfulness; at the end, check today's thoughts and actions, and if they are contrary to Bodhicitta, repent, and if they are not contrary, be happy, and always learn these two things. 'Endure whatever happens.' It means that whether perfect happiness or declining suffering occurs, think like this: If happiness occurs, do not be indulgent and indifferent, but pray that all beings have happiness; if suffering occurs, do not be sad and depressed, but put the suffering of others on yourself, think of the karma of previous lives, and if you cannot bear it, you must give up the Dharma, so you must endure it. 'Protect these two with your life.' It means that whether it is the common Dharma vow or the special mind training vow, you must treat it like your own life, and even in the face of life-threatening situations, do not violate the vow, and strive to protect it in accordance with the Dharma. 'You must learn the three difficulties.' It means that when cutting off afflictions, it is difficult to generate the mindfulness that is the antidote to afflictions in the first place, it is difficult to prevent them in the middle, and finally... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Because it is difficult to cut them off, one should strive to practice and learn these three non-difficult methods. The method of learning is that when afflictions arise, one should remember the antidotes, block them in between, and think: 'From now on, I must never let such afflictions arise in my mindstream.' 'Take the three main causes.' This means taking the three main factors for practicing Dharma: a good lama (spiritual teacher), one's own capable intelligence to practice the Dharma properly, and having the conducive conditions for practicing Dharma, such as food and clothing. If one has these three factors in one's own mindstream, one should happily meditate, and pray that others may also have these three factors. 'Meditate on the three non-deteriorating aspects.' This means that all the qualities of the Great Vehicle depend on the lama, so one should maintain unwavering devotion and respect for the lama; mind training is the essence of the Great Vehicle Dharma, so one should maintain unwavering enthusiasm for meditating on mind training; and one should not neglect the precepts of the three vows. One should learn and meditate on these three distinct or aspects of non-deterioration. 'Be endowed with the three inseparable aspects.' This means that body, speech, and mind should abandon evil deeds and engage in virtuous actions, and one should always be endowed with these three inseparable aspects. 'Train in all places without bias.' 'Master breadth and depth, cherish everything.' This means that the object of mind training should be without bias, whether sentient beings or non-sentient beings, whether good or bad, one should pervade everything with mind training, and not just superficially, but from the depths of one's heart, and cherish it at all times. 'Always meditate on the special cases.' This means that for the difficult objects of mind training, such as hateful enemies and harmful obstacles, one should especially focus on them, think of them as one's own heart, and always meditate on loving-kindness, compassion, and bodhicitta (the mind of enlightenment). 'Do not rely on other conditions.' This means that to practice other Dharmas, one needs to have favorable conditions such as food, clothing, shelter, good health, and the absence of unfavorable conditions such as enemies and demons. However, for mind training, if favorable conditions are present, one can meditate on the basis of those conditions; if they are not present, one can meditate on the basis of those conditions themselves. Therefore, one does not need to rely on other conditions. 'Now mainly practice.' This means that from beginningless time, we have taken countless bodies, but they have all been meaningless. Now we have obtained a human body, met a qualified lama, and have the opportunity to practice the true Dharma and practice it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
