These three mindsets are enemies to each other. If the elephant moves, the snake will go into the hole and kill it; if the snake moves, the pig will kill it; if the pig moves, the elephant will kill it. Therefore, the three of them are wary of each other, afraid and unable to move. In this way, the three of them will starve to death in a day because they have no food. This example is like a great road, the wisdom that is non-dual with the Buddha pervades the mindstreams of all sentient beings. As it is said in the First Chapter of the First Examination: 'Great wisdom dwells in the body, completely abandoning all discriminations, pervading all things, the body dwells in the non-body.' Just as there are three creatures on the left, right, and center of the road, symbolizing the traffic of people on the road. Attachment is like an elephant, hatred is like a snake, and ignorance is like a pig. These three bind the self-continuum and prevent the arising of wisdom. Just as these three creatures will starve to death in a day, it is said that if you practice the guru's instructions for two days, the three poisons will not appear. Regarding the non-appearance of the three poisons, there are three key points: the key of time, the key of body adjustment, and the key of place. First, the key of time is to practice when the wind runs in the Avadhuti Central Channel). That is, do not practice when the wind runs strongly from the left or right nostril, or from both nostrils; practice when it runs slowly from both nostrils. If asked whether you cannot practice at other times, you can practice at other times as well, but especially practice at that time, because it is said to be the time when wisdom arises. Then there is the key of body adjustment, there are five ways: crossing like a chessboard, straightening like an arrow, bending like an iron hook, tightening like a knot, and twisting like a rope. First, sit comfortably on a cushion, placing the sole of the right foot on the left thigh, and the sole of the left foot on the right thigh. Second, straighten the spine. Third, lower the head slightly. Fourth, tightly bind the hands in the meditation mudra two fingers below the navel. Fifth, if you do not twist the rope, it will loosen, twist it... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you do not practice diligently as instructed, you will not generate experience, so you must practice Tummo (Tibetan: གཏུམ་མོའི་མེད་པའི།) very diligently. Then, do not meditate on the wheel of great bliss (Sanskrit: Mahasukha-cakra) at the crown of the head, do not meditate on the wheel of enjoyment (Sanskrit: Sambhogacakra) at the throat, and do not meditate on the wheel of Dharma (Sanskrit: Dharmacakra) at the heart. So, where should you meditate? It is said that you should focus your mind on the junction of the three hidden channels four fingers below the navel. Then, do about ten exhalations and inhalations. When exhaling, exhale one cubit away from the body, exhaling only upwards and not downwards, making a 'shush shush' sound. If you exhale downwards, the body will feel pain. After exhaling like this, inhale. When the air in the left and right channels flows back like ghee and enters the central channel, it is like blowing on a fire covered with ashes, and the flame will burn brightly. Just as the air enters the central channel, the flame of Tummo at the junction of the three channels is like a candle flame that is not moved by the wind. As thick as a horse's tail, as long as reaching the wheel of Dharma at the heart, or just reaching the navel, and focusing your mind on this, this is inhalation. Then, holding the breath upwards and downwards, this is filling. The air enters the central channel and experience is generated, this is stillness. If you cannot control the air, visualize that all the pores are gently emitting air outwards. If you still cannot control it, slowly exhale through the nostrils, and focus your mind on the Brahma aperture, gently exhaling upwards, if you can hold your breath for a long time, that is throwing. By practicing like this repeatedly, first warmth will arise, then bliss will arise, then non-thought will arise. It is said that in the course of practice, experience will be generated within three months. If the practice is not good, experience will not be generated even within six months. The remaining air should be kept in the body, if all of it is exhaled, it will be difficult to generate experience. This is the instruction that combines the generation stage and the completion stage with birth, death, and the intermediate state. Now it is about the dream intermediate state, combining dream with meditation. First, one must cultivate the awareness of dreams, and the methods of not falling asleep and falling asleep. If there is a firm understanding of a certain place at a certain moment, then it is permissible to focus on the state of this place at this moment. It is said that this is taught for those who do not understand the above. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
