Because it contradicts 'Shad pa' (遮破, refutation). Furthermore, scholars like Shakya-chog and Khedrup Je, having ascertained through valid cognition (Tsad-ma, प्रमाण, pramāṇa, valid cognition) that sound is impermanent, establish the thesis (Dam-bca', प्रतिज्ञा, pratijñā, proposition) that 'sound is impermanent.' Although this thesis does not harm the object of attachment to self-contradiction, the valid cognition that ascertains it in this way harms the permanence of sound, etc. Where do these valid cognitions exist? And so on. It seems unreasonable to say that. Because having ascertained that sound is impermanent through valid cognition, there is no need for discerning individuals to analyze the statement of proof in order to harm the permanence of sound. Third, explaining its proof. Knowable objects (Shes-bya, ज्ञेय, jñeya, knowable) as subjects (Chos-can, धर्मिन्, dharmin, subject), when analyzing based on the power of reality, self-scripture and other-scripture are merely obstacles to the object of attachment to the self-contradictory thesis. However, when analyzing the first and second realms of what is to be measured (Gzhal-bya, प्रमेय, prameya, object to be measured), the scriptures are valid proofs. This has already been refuted in previous chapters. As it is explained: 'Scriptures are valid cognitions, which have already been completely refuted.' etc. Because of this reason, having previously accepted scriptures as valid cognitions, it is accepted that this fault harms the analysis of the extremely hidden meanings of scriptures if it contradicts one's own scriptures. When the analysis shifts to the third realm, the scriptures are valid proofs.' As it is explained: 'Therefore, having accepted it, this fault is considered in the analysis.' etc. The following is the way to separately explain inference: The second point of the root text is: the way to separately explain inference. Because there is a difference in whether scriptures are harmful or supportive for the three realms of what is to be measured, therefore, the promised trust, one's own scriptures and other scriptures, as subjects, relying on you, the measure of realization that realizes the extremely hidden object to be measured is not outside of inference, because you are the sign of trust that harms the opposite of the extremely hidden object to be measured. As it is explained: 'Therefore, for the sake of harm, from inference, what is promised is not an outsider.' Therefore, the promised inference is not a different entity from inference, but when explaining the distinctions of the measure of elimination, the manifest (Mngon-sum, प्रत्यक्ष, pratyakṣa, perception) is made into one, and the inference of reality and the inference of trust are divided into two, as subjects, this is necessary, because it is to clearly show that there is a difference in the objects of harm and support between the two. There is also a difference in harm and support between the two, because the extremely hidden objects to be measured that are established by scripture are the objects of harm and support of the inference of reality, while the first two realms of what is to be measured that are established only by the manifest and reality. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is explained that 'because trust-based inference is not the domain of harm's establishment'. Furthermore, the distinction of domains is pointed out: 'Therefore, a distinction is made'. If the components of harm's establishment do not have different necessities, then it would lead to different classifications within inference. If this is accepted, then it would be necessary to divide exclusionary inference into three types, namely inference based on effect, self-nature, and non-apprehension of cause, which would be too extreme. If this is not necessary, because these three types of inference belong to the same category of inference, then making a separate classification of the real and trust-based inferences as exclusionary valid cognitions would also become meaningless, because they also belong to the same category of inference.' It is explained that 'If it is not so, it would be too extreme, or making a separate classification would become meaningless'. If someone thinks, 'Then is it necessary to explain the doubt that the famous inference here is also classified separately?', then it is very necessary, because when excluding the famous inference, it is explained that 'Even if it is not external, it is distinguished as before'. About the way of explaining one's own system and the words of scripture differently in the Gate of Reasoning: Second, regarding the way of explaining one's own system differently in the Gate of Reasoning: In the Gate of Reasoning, it is necessary to explain one's own words and the examples in the words of scripture differently, because when analyzing extremely obscure things, merely stating one's own words that contradict the direct and indirect is to know that this hinders attachment to the commitment of self-contradiction.' It is explained that 'One's own words are also different, merely stating words hinders'. In the Treasury of Reasoning, 'In the Gate of Reasoning, the examples in the words of scripture are stated differently'. The scholar Go Rabjampa said: 'In this treatise, from the Compendium, it is not only necessary to complete the words of scripture and the real inference, but it is also necessary to distinguish one's own words from the real' etc. Although only the power of the word 'also' is manifested, this is not his intention, because in the Compendium, since the examples of the two own systems are not different, it is not necessary to explain the different necessity, because in the Treasury of Reasoning, 'In the Compendium, both are shown by one example, in the Gate of Reasoning, the examples in the words of scripture are stated differently'. This is a gesture that does not require combining this treatise. Regarding explaining the way to resolve disputes in these two meanings: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
