In short, the biographies of previous incarnations, etc., are clearly adorned elsewhere. Here, starting from the present conduct, only a seed of the biography of the essence of meaning is asked. The ten great pillars supporting the tradition of teachings and the eight great chariots guiding the practice lineage, etc., are filled with the ocean of teachings, practice, and instructions of all the non-sectarian doctrines of the cool snow land. He is our glorious protector, the Vajradhara Karma Ngawang Yonten Gyatso Trinley Kunkhyab Pal Zangpo, whose name is renowned and whose fame has spread throughout the earth. This very one is mentioned in the Samadhiraja Sutra: 'Whoever holds the supreme samadhi in their hand, like the Victorious Maitreya, whose name is boundless, will do much good for sentient beings. Boundless Wisdom, I have prophesied this.' And in the Lankavatara Sutra: 'After that, when the time is ripe, one named Guide of Wisdom will be the teacher of the five sciences, and a great hero will appear.' Thus, the Buddha himself clearly prophesied his name and activities. Just as the King of Oddiyana also praised him unmistakably with vajra words from many new and old treasures. The Buddha's attendant Ananda, the great translator Vairochana who emanated from Vairochana, and others, manifested as the roles of many great scholars and accomplished masters of India and Tibet, and propagated the teachings. In this life, he intentionally manifested as an emanation in the Khungkar family, which has produced a continuous line of great beings, like the radiant sun. From a young age, he manifested the extraordinary qualities of a great incarnate being, surpassing all ordinary behavior. From Zechen Maha Pandita Gyurme Thutop Namgyal, the sun of the five sciences, he listened to, contemplated, and decisively understood the profound teachings ranging from the common sciences to the uncommon Great Perfection. From Tai Situ Pema Nyinje Wangpo, he received the blessings of the three vows and the empowerment of the meaning lineage of the transference of the co-emergent wisdom vajra blessing. Having taken the vows of a monk numerous times, he became the foremost of all the supreme sons of the Victorious Ones. Undoubtedly, the great omniscient and all-seeing Lord Lama Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, not to mention others, from qualified and virtuous Vajra Masters, fully listened to all the ripening and liberating instructions, explanations, precepts, and oral instructions of the four or six classes of tantras, and never transgressed the boundaries of vows. Through the practice of the generation stage, completion stage, and Great Perfection, he became the sole refuge of the teachings and beings, whose lotus feet are bowed to with the crown of their heads by the ocean of the Threefold Vajra Holders. He surpassed ten common fields of knowledge. Especially, he mastered the inner science, all the teachings and commentaries of the characteristic vehicle, mainly Madhyamaka, Prajnaparamita, Vinaya, Abhidharma, and the Five Treatises of Maitreya.
