May the nagas and demons not be able to oppress, and may obstacles not be able to hinder. May selfish thoughts and ordinary attachments not arise in the mind. Through the power of this root of virtue, may the intentions of the great Vajradhara Tai Situ Pema Wangchen, the great Karmapa Tekchok Dorje, Paldan Pawo Pema Tenzin, the wise and accomplished Karma Tekchok Tenpel, and the kind and venerable lamas, headed by Gyurme Thutob Namgyal, be fulfilled by this very body. May all the actions and deeds that have accumulated due to ignorance, which cause even the slightest displeasure to them, be immediately purified. In the future, may only pleasing actions be performed, and may displeasing actions not even occur in dreams. May all the qualities of abandonment and realization of those venerable masters be transferred to my mindstream, and may I quickly, together with all sentient beings connected to me, attain Buddhahood in the vast and spontaneously perfect sphere of light, inseparable from the heart of Samantabhadra Vajradhara Padmasambhava, the Lord of the Sun. May the truth and blessings of the Three Jewels accomplish this. This aspiration prayer is offered from the heart by the monk Yonten Gyatso. This, when one is usually well and capable, can fulfill the intentions of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and especially the Karmapa fathers and sons, with little effort. The time has come, behold with the eyes of wisdom! 3. The lama is the creator of all mandalas, the most supreme and ultimate of all lamas. May the nine assemblies of the Padma Vajra mandala, along with the images of the lineage, be established. 4. Writing the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, with merit equal, and a Dakini for each syllable, praising the gathering of hundreds of thousands of Dakinis in this golden Dharma. And with great devotion, may the virtue of building be accomplished. 5. May all the pure deeds accumulated by myself and all other beings in the three times, be completely dedicated to the pure essence of Bodhichitta, through the power of wisdom that does not fixate on the three spheres. 6. Just as Samantabhadra, Manjushri, and other heroic beings, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, have dedicated with the supreme dedication that is without objectification, so too, may I dedicate in the same way. 7. By the power of merit, from now until enlightenment, except for entering samsara at will, may I not wander in the three realms and six paths due to karma, and may the karmic winds be purified in the central channel. 8. Whatever birth or existence appears for the benefit of beings, may I never be separated, even for a moment or in a dream, from the lineage lord, Lotus-born Vajra, father and mother, and may I drink the nectar of instructions without satiety. 9. May the great bliss Padma Sambhava, father and mother, bestow empowerment and blessings, entrust the secret treasury, and without difficulty, in this one lifetime, may I accomplish the rank of the four Vidyadharas. 10. May the fully ripened aggregates and elements transform into the rainbow body of Vajra, may transference and birth, speech and wind, ripen into indestructible self-sound, may awareness and intelligence be liberated in primordial purity as the great pervasive lord, and may I become one with the three secrets of Padma. 11. Through the four means of subduing, from direct and indirect methods, may the activities of whomever spread to the ends of the sky, and through taming, subjugation, and unsurpassed asceticism, may I alone fulfill their intentions. 12. May all sentient beings pervading the sky, and especially those who have been bad influences on me in the three times, all those connected to them, attain the state of Padma Vajra without hindrance. 13. May the habitual tendencies of the two obscurations accumulated from beginningless time, and especially violations of the three vows, whether transgressions or natural faults, all obstacles to liberation, be purified at this time. 14. May diseases, evil spirits, obstacles, curses, black magic, debts, bad dreams, omens, evil signs, and calamities of years, months, and days, all tangible and intangible things arising from past karma and present circumstances,
