I prostrate. Where was the perfect Buddha born, And where did he touch enlightenment, And where did he turn the wheel of peace, And where did he pass into sorrowless nirvana. Where does the Sugata reside, And where does he walk and stand, And where does he sleep like a lion, To that place I prostrate. Above, below, and in between, And also in all directions and corners, With form and without form, To the stupa I prostrate. The noble two-legged one, in the east, And in the direction of the north, The Victorious One called "Hard to Rely On," He spoke this verse. Whoever praises the Tathagata with these four verses, For millions of eons, He will not go to the lower realms. As many as there are in the ten directions of the world, All the lions among men who have passed in the three times, I prostrate to all of them without exception, With body, speech, and mind. By the power of the aspiration of the Good Conduct, All the Victorious Ones are manifest in my mind, With bodies multiplied as many as there are dust particles in the fields, I prostrate to all the Victorious Ones. On one atom are Buddhas as many as there are atoms, Dwelling in the midst of the Buddha's sons, Thus, all the realms of Dharma without exception, I imagine are filled with Victorious Ones. Those inexhaustible oceans of praise, With the limbs of melody, all the sounds of the ocean, Utterly praising the qualities of all the Victorious Ones, I praise all the Sugatas. With excellent flowers, excellent garlands, And cymbals, and excellent anointed umbrellas, Excellent lamps and excellent incense, I offer to those Victorious Ones. With excellent clothes and excellent perfumes, And heaps of flour equal to Mount Meru, With all the excellent ornaments that are especially superior, I also offer to those Victorious Ones. Whatever offerings are supreme and vast, I imagine that I offer them to all the Victorious Ones, By the power of faith in the Good Conduct, I prostrate and offer to all the Victorious Ones. Om Vajra Vishodhana Svaha! (Tibetan: བི་ཤོ་དྷ་ན་བཛྲེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: विशोधन वज्र स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: viśodhana vajra svāhā, Literal Chinese Meaning: Purification Vajra Svaha!) In order to hold the precious mind, To the Thus Gone Ones and the sacred Dharma, To the immaculate Sangha and the Buddha's children, I offer well to the ocean of qualities. All the flowers and fruits that exist, Whatever forms of medicine there are, Whatever precious things there are in the world, Whatever pure and pleasing water there is, Precious mountains And likewise forests, secluded and delightful places, Shrubs adorned with trees and flowers, All trees with good fruit, branches drooping, Even the scents of gods and other beings in the world, Incense, wish-fulfilling trees, and precious trees, Various crops that grow without being cultivated, And other ornaments suitable for offering, Lakes and ponds adorned with lotuses, With geese possessing extremely sweet and pleasing voices, Reaching to the edge of the vast expanse of space, All those things that are unpossessed, Having taken them with my mind, to the supreme among the conquerors, And their retinue, I offer well. O venerable objects of generosity, great in compassion, Think of me with affection, accept these offerings of mine. I am one without merit, extremely impoverished, I have no other wealth for offering. Therefore, O protector who thinks of the benefit of others, For my sake, accept them by your power. To the Buddhas and their children, I, Forever offer my entire body. O supreme Bodhisattvas, completely accept me, I respectfully go as your servant. Since I am completely held by you, I will be fearless in existence, benefiting sentient beings, I will completely transcend past sins, And I will not commit other sins in the future. May the fragrance of the three thousand worlds rise, With these supreme fragrances, I anoint the bodies of the Buddhas, Like refined gold that has been scrubbed and polished, Those radiant and blazing forms. I offer to the Buddhas and the supreme objects of veneration, With pleasing flowers such as Mandarava and lotuses, And all fragrant flowers such as Utpala, And well-arranged and pleasing garlands. I also offer to them the clouds of incense, Of supreme incense, captivating and pervading with fragrance. I also offer to them various delicious foods and drinks, And the food of the gods.
