And the embellishments of finding. Therefore, also applying and meditating on this meaning in one's own mindstream, not thinking about when it will be done, but constantly relying on mindfulness and awareness in equipoise, and the liberation of the holy ones who have previous practice, abide without wavering from that which is spontaneously accomplished. In order to directly see the reality of how things are from the beginning with the stainless, individually self-aware wisdom, the secret vajra speech that is exactly the same as the experience of the Buddhas' realization, may I have the good fortune to hear it, with joy and excitement. In general, abiding in the path of accumulation is just understanding, the path of joining is practice, and the path of seeing is the beginning of realization, but it is said that for those with the highest faculties, it is accomplished all at once. The reality of the ground is naturally free from elaboration, those who contemplate establish it through hearing, and for that, scripture and reasoning are needed as companions. Looking outward, one is bound by the fetters of grasping and being grasped, those who practice calm abiding experience it through meditation, and to realize that meaning, the instructions of the lama are essential, if not thoroughly decided, it will overflow into the unpredicted. In anything, one must gain the conviction of realizing selflessness, and for that, the profound realm of generosity, equal taste, and cutting through is needed. The ultimate view is that nothing is established, not grasping at anything, beyond thought and expression, although without commitment, it is self-determined. When making this meaning into the path and meditating, effortless, naturally abiding contemplation is the indispensable basis of calm abiding samadhi. Awareness that is clearly awake is insight, and the nature of phenomena is that movements dissolve into their own place. When those with initial karma engage in meditation, first, they should constantly rely on contrived mindfulness, without distraction for a moment, like threading a needle, and release thoughts into their own nature and abide. Once accustomed, thoughts themselves will arise as meditation, and if one maintains the continuity without losing mindfulness and awareness, samsara and nirvana will appear as the dharmakaya mahamudra. The essential point of introducing this meaning is that the special characteristic of the glorious Karmapas is that the reality of all phenomena is primordially free from elaboration, the nature of one's own mind, inseparable, is the dharmakaya, the nature of emptiness is clear and unobstructed, appearance that is free from grasping is the sambhogakaya, and self-display is neither anything nor not anything, if one knows that this is the compassion nirmanakaya of union, then samsara and nirvana are inseparable, and the three bodies are complete in their own nature. Although there are many activities, in the degenerate age, all, good or bad, are of great benefit and great danger.

May I realize the profound conduct of Samantabhadra, generate renunciation for samsara, and cultivate compassion for beings. May I train in genuine devotion and impartial pure perception, abandoning self-interest and the eight worldly concerns like discarding grass. Even if I realize ultimate emptiness like the sky, may I not spare even the wrathful mother in relative truth. May I urge beings to accumulate merit, purify obscurations, and embark on the path. May I subdue beings through actions that arise naturally and without artifice. I pray that all those connected to me may find meaning and accomplish activities that benefit beings. The essence of the key point is the innate nature of one's own mind. Without patching it with external knowledge, may I maintain the continuity of resting in a natural, unfabricated state. Through the power of devotion, when the blessings of the lama enter, may I see the ultimate truth beyond concepts. May ordinary awareness awaken in the center of the heart, and may all phenomena be the all-pervading lord, the insubstantial body of space. It is said that one will attain the great seal of fruition without effort. Like the supreme emanation body of the Buddha, although it is not appropriate to praise with the words of an ordinary person, having been entrusted with the unique compassionate intention, I take the teachings and briefly express these words of realization. I confess all faults in the expanse of wisdom. May I be cared for by the Buddha Karmapa in all lifetimes through the merit of pleasing the guru, and may I, inseparable from the qualities and activities of the three secrets, become the guide of beings throughout the sky. Thus, from the solitary place of Dewikotitza's Rinchen Drak, the old servant Lodro Thaye offered this with faithful and respectful mind. Sarva Mangalam! Lama, embodiment of all refuges, please bless me and others. Having obtained this precious human rebirth, may I practice the Dharma that benefits future lives. Life is like the sun between the clouds; whatever is done is consumed in an instant. Regretting at the time of death is useless. Therefore, quickly begin diligence. Although the Dharma is vast and numerous, the Dharma that accomplishes Buddhahood in one lifetime is ultimately the two, Mahamudra and Dzogchen. The path of means, the Mahamudra of bliss and emptiness, although it is the actual practice of mantra, only a few attain it. The co-emergent great seal, the path of liberation, is of great benefit and little danger, easy to practice, and benefits all beings of high, medium, and low faculties. Make this the essence of your practice. Urged by impermanence and death, be sure to abandon unnecessary thoughts. The three realms of samsara
