The very essence of the syllable I. The meaning of the Middle Way that pacifies all elaborations. It is unparalleled in all methods of union. Now, the first of the actual six dharmas, the path of heat and bliss that blazes on its own, has three parts: preliminary, main practice, and concluding practice. The preliminary practice is the essential posture of the body, the emptiness of fire, or the fierce woman of fire, namely Tummo. Visualize yourself as the innate bliss supreme, or even in an ordinary state, on a vast and spacious jeweled throne supported by eight lions on your crown. Above that, on a white lotus and sun and moon, is your root guru, white like the autumn moon, with a smiling face. Meditate as if he is bestowing blessings upon you. If there is a lot of wrong thinking, or if you need to re-evaluate with faith, it is also okay to meditate as Vajradhara. The special characteristic of these six dharmas is to meditate on the guru as his actual form. In any case, with strong devotion from many doors, such as believing him to be the embodiment of all refuge, pray: "Precious guru, the essence of all buddhas of the three times, for the benefit of all sentient beings, please cause a special samadhi of bliss and warmth to arise in my body. Please cause a special samadhi of bliss and emptiness to arise in my mind." After praying intensely like this, the guru melts into the essence of nectar and dissolves from the crown of your head. Purify the karmic body and transform into the venerable Vajra Yogini, reddish-brown in color, with one face and two arms, the right hand holding a vajra. Slightly fierce, with a threatening gesture, holding a skull cup filled with blood at the heart with the left hand. Adorned with a skull cup garland, a skull rosary hangs down. With three eyes wide open, hair loose, adorned with the five seals. The right leg extended, standing on a lotus, sun, and white corpse. The head facing upwards to the right, residing in the middle of a fire heap. Visualize the inside of the body as if covered by a tight red tent, empty and clear all the way to the ends of the hairs. The essential body posture is to do the six-method binding, that is, sit in the vajra posture, with the right shin inside and the left shin outside, crossed like a table. Cross the two hands as well, grasping the two middle joints, bringing the elbows onto the knees. Straighten the spine. Keep the gaze at the tip of the nose. In front and behind the navel, and at the left and right kidneys, visualize four red and round balls of fire, very intense, with flames blazing, like red-hot iron balls, clearly appearing in the four places. Without abandoning this focus, exhale slowly and deeply three times. Slowly inhale the air above.

Having inhaled, press down below the navel. Do not draw the lower air upwards, but bind it in its place. Rotate the navel once to the right and once to the left, so that the fire masses collide, and visualize that the entire inside of the body is pervaded by red sparks like red flames, hot and blazing, and hold the gentle breath without any discomfort. If it is unbearable, at first the force is small, in the middle it is large, and finally exhale like a gust of wind. In this way, hold the breath for four, eight, etc., as much as you can. After becoming slightly proficient, gradually add one right and one left rotation each time, and when you can finally do about twelve rotations, you will gain the power of fire. Before practicing the five branches, also do as much as possible the churning of the churning stick and churning mat of the fire-generating wheel, so that heat will be generated quickly. The actual method of consuming Tummo as food is: the posture of the body is to sit in the vajra posture with the legs relaxed, and the abdomen wide. Straighten the arms and cover the knees with the palms of the hands. The posture of the teeth, tongue, and eyes is the same as before. Straighten the spine. Bend the big toes of the feet inwards. Visualize yourself as Jetsunma, in the empty nine-section bamboo tube, the Avadhuti channel is like a medium-sized arrow shaft. Straight, slender, clear, and red, possessing four characteristics. The upper end is inserted into the Brahma aperture, and the lower end is inserted four fingers below the navel. Both ends are at the cut-off point, and the inside is empty, like a cut-off bamboo. On the right side is the red Roma, and on the left side is the white Kyangma, both of which are attached like barley awns. The lower end goes down four fingers from the central channel, and the end is also turned over, just submerged inside the central channel. The two upper ends are bent about one finger from the back of the upper end of the central channel. At this point, the two are joined together, covering the upper end of the central channel, and inserted forward into the two nostrils of the guru. Inside the upper end of the central channel, there is a white Hum (ཧཾ,haṃ,種子字) syllable, head facing down, comfortable and cool. At the lower end where the three channels converge, there is a red Ram (རཾ,raṃ,種子字) syllable, head facing up, extremely blazing. From there, about four fingers down, visualize the wind mandala at the genital wheel, a blue-green crescent shape, with the opening facing forward, shaking violently. The method of blowing the nine-section wind is: first, three times slowly and long. Then, three times quickly and short. Then, tighten the anus and exhale three times: press down with the thumb and ring finger of the right hand, and also bend the little finger. Place the index finger behind the middle finger, so that the nose
