Devi Ah Hum. Starting with that, Auspicious Vase Goddess, Auspicious Lotus Goddess, Auspicious Banner Goddess, Auspicious Umbrella Goddess, Auspicious Conch Goddess, Auspicious Wheel Goddess, Auspicious Fish Goddess. With these names and mantras of the Eight Auspicious Goddesses, offer them in turn three times. Finally, recite the aspiration prayer as before. At the end of the burning of the offering substances, visualize the principal deity born from the seed syllable HUM (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,hūṃ,种子字) of the deceased as being like a vajra. Protect with Om Vajra Raksha Hum. Think that the light rays of the deities bestow empowerment. If the purification of the path has not been done before, it should be done here. Offerings such as the realm of the world, praises such as Victorious Moon, and confessions such as the Bhagavan ritual, after doing them according to the mandala ritual. Namo Bhagavate Akshobhye Vajra Argham Pratitsa Svaha. Om Mangala Shri Vatsa Argham, etc., offer to the Eight Auspicious Goddesses, etc., with the root offerings, mudras, etc., as at the time of invitation. The assembly of deities of the mandala residing in the fire, return again to the place of the great mandala and sit on their respective seats. After reciting this, scatter a few flowers on the mandala, which is related to the mandala at this time. Then, visualize the fire god residing in the center of the fire, and offer all the remaining burning substances, such as mustard seeds, etc., with the above-mentioned Om Tishta Hari Singala Lohita Aksha Dehi Da Dava Ya Hum Phet Phet. Sarva Papam Shintam Kuru Ye Svaha. Recite as many times as appropriate, three times is sufficient. Before the Svaha of the mantra, add Argham, etc., and regard the offerings and tormas as nectar, add the mantra Li, and offer it three times. Again, at the end of the seven nectar offerings with the long mantra of the fire god. Son of Brahma, Lord of the World, King of the Fire Gods, Supreme Sage, for the sake of protecting all beings, manifesting as an emanation of compassion, in the form of a Sage who has accomplished the Knowledge Mantra, the light of wisdom that burns afflictions, blazing with glory like the fire of the end of an aeon, possessing clairvoyance and miraculous feet, riding on a vehicle emanated by skillful means, holding a rosary of Knowledge Mantra speech, possessing the essence of nectar.

Holding lotuses, sprinkling the nectar of Dharma upon all, practicing pure conduct free from faults, though dwelling in the world, also entering Nirvana, though attaining peace, yet possessing great compassion. Praising them, and also prostrating to them. Thus it is said. Extending the thumb from the mudra of invocation, after short mantras such as "Om Agnaye (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཨཱགྣ་ཡེ།,梵文天城体:ओम् अग्नये,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ agnaye,汉语字面意思:Om, to Agni)", reciting "Gaccha Gaccha" to request their arrival. Reciting the words of the host, such as "Please return", proclaiming it repeatedly, causing them to return. Immediately after inviting them, reciting "May the secret mantra be pleased, please descend", if there is interest, it can also be recited. Finally, reciting aspiration prayers such as "In the Pure Land of Manifest Joy", and auspicious words such as "Supreme Teacher", extensively proclaiming them. What should be done afterwards? Before the fire goes out, others should not touch or stir it. If there is no firewood, extinguish it with milk water, then collect the ashes, and the order of how to place bone ornaments and tsatsas, etc., should all be done according to what is stated in the well-spoken treatises of Je Tsongkhapa. Furthermore, the area around the stove should also be smeared with fragrant water, so that the traces of the activity are not visible. The above is a concise summary of the practice of purifying ordinary corpses as offerings. As for the order of purifying the remains of superior individuals, it should also be understood from the well-spoken treatises of my guru, and is not recorded here. This method is related to the sources of tantras and Indian treatises, and is a reliable method with key instructions and practical experience, which can withstand the examination of doctrine and reasoning. I have compiled the essence of my guru's well-spoken words to make it easy to read. However, there may still be subtle points that people like me have not fully understood, therefore, wise people should invest their wisdom in the teachings of Je Tsongkhapa and the tantric treatises, avoiding mixing the practices of Anuttarayoga Tantra, etc., with the supplementary practices of the Nyingma school, and it is crucial to establish pure and unadulterated conduct with independent view and practice. In the future, if there is a cremation ritual that is practiced without confusing one's own tradition, then it should be performed only according to this method, so that it will be in accordance with the meaning. Do not consider the lowly author like me, but rely on the Dharma, and express gratitude for it. Thus it is said: The waves of birth, old age, sickness, and death are violently turbulent, in the boundless and bottomless ocean of karma and afflictions, beings who repeatedly wander, in order to uplift them, the merits of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who do not abandon them but embrace them with compassion.
