English

To establish the support with truthful words on the seat: During the medicine ritual, according to the ritual of the Sutra of Extensive Explanation of the Special Qualities of the Prayers of the Seven Sugatas, today, in this palace, relying on the attendants who invite the eight Sugatas, may the deceased named Chge Mo be in front of the palace, like a living person, with palms together, squatting. Thus. In the liberation ritual, according to the ritual of the Sutra of Great Liberation, the King of Repentance and Purification, well-spoken by the Bhagavan, today, in this palace, relying on the attendants who invite the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and their retinues, may the deceased named Chge Mo be in front of the palace, like a living person, with palms together, squatting. Summoning the consciousness: Homage! The words of the venerable root and lineage, the glorious and holy lamas, are true; the words of the Buddhas are true; the words of the Dharma are true; the words of the Sangha are true; especially the words of the Bhagavan, the Medicine Guru, the King of Lapis Lazuli Light, and the other eight Sugatas and their retinues are true; the words of the twelve great yaksha generals and other oath-bound protectors are true; by the blessing of the great truth, may the consciousness of the deceased named Chge Mo, wherever it may be in the three realms, four births, six realms, existence, or intermediate state, come here in an instant. In the liberation ritual, especially the words of the Bhagavan, the great Vairochana Buddha, and the other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and their retinues are true; the words of the oath-bound protectors who protect the holy Dharma are true; by the blessing of the great truth, may the consciousness of the deceased named Chge Mo, wherever it may be in the three realms, four births, six realms, existence, or intermediate state, come here in an instant. Say this three times. The consciousness of the deceased is summoned in the form of A-thung.

Visualize that you are absorbed into this deity. The method for dispelling obstacles is as follows: Since the Sutra tradition does not have the practice of combining peaceful and wrathful methods for dispelling obstacles, sprinkle water on the obstacle torma. Bless it by reciting "Om(藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:Om), Ah(藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:Ah), Hum(藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum)" three times, and then, with the gesture of bestowing the supreme, recite "Namaḥ Sarva Tathāgata Avalokite Om Sambhara Sambhara Hum(藏文:ན་མཿསརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་བ་ལོ་ཀི་ཏེ། ཨོཾ་སམྦྷ་ར་སམྦྷ་ར་ཧཱུྃ།)" seven times and dedicate it. I prostrate to the Bhagavan Tathagata Ratnakara. I prostrate to the Tathagata Surupa. I prostrate to the Tathagata Vipulakaya. I prostrate to the Tathagata Abhayankara. This vast offering torma is given to all the obstructing demons and spirits who cause obstacles to the deceased "Chge Mo," who creates obstacles during her lifetime and hinders the purification of sins after death. Be satisfied with this torma, and do not remain in this place, but go elsewhere! After saying this, throw the torma outside with music. The method of purifying sins is as follows: Arrange sesame seeds, fire, and water on the left and right. Visualize that all the sins and obscurations accumulated by the deceased Chge Mo from beginningless samsara emerge from her nostrils in the form of a black "Kam"(藏文:ཀཾ,梵文天城体:क,梵文罗马拟音:kaṃ,汉语字面意思:Kam) and dissolve into the sesame seeds in front of her in the form of a horned sin. Then, take the black sesame seeds with a ladle and circle them three times to the left and right, throwing them into the fire and water, and recite "Om Sarva Papam Dahana Vajraya Svaha(藏文:ཨོཾ་སརྦ་པཱ་པཾ་ད་ཧ་ན་བཛྲཱ་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།)" three times. Finally, say: All the sins and obscurations of the deceased have been burned and purified by the fire and water of wisdom. Sprinkle sand and mustard seeds on the support, and complete the mantras of the respective rituals. May all the sins and obscurations of the deceased Chge Mo be purified! Recite this aspiration three times. Visualize that countless rays of light emanate from the bodies of the deities, completely purifying the sins, downfalls, and habitual tendencies of the object of focus. Then, at the beginning of purification with bathing, request the bathing of the deities according to the practice: Just as at the time of the Buddha's birth, the gods bathed the Buddha's body, so too, I bathe the deity with pure divine water. Recite this verse and play music. If possible, recite the mantra of the cloud of offerings: Om Namo Bhagavate Vajra Sara Pramarda.

Hane. To the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha. Tadyatha. Om Vajre Vajre. (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) Maha Vajre. Maha Tejo Vajre. Maha Vidya Vajre. Maha Bodhicitta Vajre. Maha Bodhi Mandopa Samkrama Vajre Sarva Karma Avara Vishodhana Vajre Svaha. Or recite the condensed Ye Dharma, etc. Explain it with that. This is the supreme bath, endowed with glory. The water of compassion is unsurpassed. It is the water of blessing and wisdom. Grant the desired accomplishments. From now on, explain by reciting music and mantras, long or short, as much as possible in each interval of the shlokas. Although the Victorious One's body has no change, in order to purify the obscurations of the deceased's body, by offering this bath water to the Victorious One's body, may the obscurations of the deceased's body be purified. Although the Victorious One's speech has no obstruction, in order to purify the obscurations of the deceased's speech, by offering this bath water to the Victorious One's speech, may the stains of the deceased's speech be purified. Although the Victorious One's mind has no delusion, in order to purify the obscurations of the deceased's mind, by offering this bath water to the Victorious One's mind, may the stains of the deceased's mind be purified. To the Thus Gone Ones and their sons, many precious vases of scented water, filled with the light of the mind, with songs and music, bathe the body with many. Recite these and bathe with mantras and music. Then, wipe the body with a white cloth that is not worn out. Although the Sugata's three bodies have examples and signs, for the sake of beings, the form body exists in various ways. Like precious jewels, free from the faults of wrongdoing, but merely as a gesture of worldly service and respect, with this supreme cloth praised by the faultless Victorious Ones, by wiping the Victorious One's body, may we quickly achieve the state of the three bodies by washing away and purifying the obscurations of the three poisons of affliction. Anoint with scented water as an offering. With the supreme scents that arise and change throughout the three thousand worlds, anoint the bodies of the Mighty Ones, like refined gold that has been polished, those radiant and blazing ones. Say this. Then, pour the bath water back into the vase and bathe the object of focus on the mirror's surface. This is the water of the nature of generosity, which purifies the stain of miserliness. Giving.
