Thereafter, regarding all empty dharmas, abide equally in the meaning like the sky. Whatever arises dependently, is without cessation, without arising, without cutting off, not permanent, without coming, without going, not different, not one, pacifying elaborations, the one who teaches peace, to the supreme one of those who speak of perfect enlightenment, I prostrate. Whatever is born from conditions is unborn; it does not have the nature of being born. Whatever depends on conditions is emptiness; whoever knows emptiness is mindful. Thus it is said. Refuge and Bodhicitta: To the Buddha, Dharma, and the Supreme Assembly, until enlightenment, I take refuge. By the merit of my giving and so on, may I attain Buddhahood for the benefit of all beings. Recite three times. Meditating on the Four Immeasurables: May all sentient beings have happiness and the causes of happiness. May all sentient beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering. May all sentient beings never be separated from the supreme bliss without suffering. May all sentient beings abide in the immeasurable equanimity free from attachment and aversion to near and far. Recite three times. Then, generating the mandala: By the truth of the Three Jewels, and the blessings of all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Noble Hearers, and Solitary Buddhas, and the truth of the gods and humans who have accomplished true words, and by the prayers, faith, and power of merit of us and other humans and gods, today, the Tathagata and his retinue, and the four great gods, and the four great kings, and all the protectors of pure lineage who hold vows, may the palace of the assembly of offerings, endowed with immeasurable qualities, arise. The ground is the nature of various precious jewels, as flat as the palm of the hand, soft to the touch and vast, a large square base. On it, round bricks of various precious jewels are piled up.
