The three supreme empowerments are conferred through symbolic means. First, the vase empowerment, including all its aspects, is given beforehand. By conferring and drinking this upon you all, the wisdom of the four appearances arises in your being. Meditate that you are blessed as the lord of the heroic means. Oṃ. Recite "Experiencing the sacred substance," etc., place the skull cup at the throat, and let the nectar be drunk. By this, the secret empowerment free from elaboration is obtained. The obscurations of transferring the channels and winds are purified. One has the authority to meditate on the yoga of one's own body endowed with skillful means. It is arranging the interdependent connection to attain the result, the Sambhogakāya. Third, based on Rakta, the empowerment of wisdom and knowledge is conferred: This lotus Bhāṇḍa vessel filled with great red Rakta that completely liberates from Saṃsāra is blessed as the wisdom nectar of the Buddhas, the boundless ocean. By conferring and drinking this upon you all, the innate coemergent wisdom free from outflows of the four joys is manifested. Believe that you are blessed as the lord of wisdom Ḍākinīs. Āḥ. Recite "Sacred substance, great red," etc., place the Rakta vessel at the throat, and let it be drunk. By this, the empowerment of wisdom and knowledge, which is extremely free from elaboration, is obtained. The obscurations of transferring and dripping Ṭhīglés are purified. One has the authority to meditate on the path of transferring consciousness to another body. It is arranging the interdependent connection to attain the result, the Dharmakāya. Fourth, Based on the Torma, the empowerment of the power of awareness is conferred: This glorious great Torma, the supreme substance of the union of skillful means and wisdom, which appears as the support substance for the deities of the three roots, this Torma is the embodiment of the body and pure realms of the Buddhas, the boundless ocean. From this, a great rain of nectar, the nature of blessings and accomplishments, falls and dissolves into you all. The deluded appearances of dualistic grasping are dissolved in their own place. Believe that you have obtained the supreme empowerment of the power of awareness, and rest evenly in the expanse of the great primordially pure Kādag without bias towards your own appearances. Place the Torma on the head and recite: Hūṃ. Recite "Sacred substance, Bali," etc. By this, the fourth empowerment, which is extremely free from elaboration, is obtained. Empowerment for meditating on the spontaneously accomplished path. This is to arrange the auspicious connection for obtaining the Dharmakaya as the fruit. Then, for the sake of auspiciousness, the auspicious longevity empowerment is bestowed as the final act. By tasting this longevity pill, which is the essence of the fourteen elements of stability and motion, may you perfect the qualities of the grounds and paths. May you aspire to perfect the attainment of the four Vidyadhara levels. Giving the longevity pill, recite: OM AH HUNG. From the Lama Kunsang, etc., may you receive the Buddha's empowerment. Recite the intermediate words. Place the five mudras in the five places of the actual or mandala, and seal the five places of yourselves with the five mudras of the five families, may the wisdom of the empowerment not be separated, transferred, or changed until enlightenment. OM AH HUNG. From the Lama Kunsang, etc., recite "Rakta HUNG." Recite the intermediate words. May the assembly of deities filling the sky sing auspicious praises in the vajra voice, and may the rain of flowers and grains fall, filling and sustaining the auspicious and eternal vision of virtue. Recite "HUNG, Dharmadhatu unborn," etc., with complete auspiciousness, and play music, etc. Thus, the empowerment of the wrathful king Vajrakilaya, the embodiment of the three roots, which came from the profound treasure of the great emanation Vidyadhara, Migyur Dorje Drakpo Nuden Tsal, is completely accomplished. From the root vajra speech: The original secret, the five poisons are completely pure. This secret practice, inseparable from the original vow, is an inexhaustible treasury. Seeing it pacifies inauspicious obstacles. Merely reading it averts evil circumstances. Meditating on it accomplishes the rainbow body in one lifetime. Whoever practices it will surely be liberated. This original secret Dharmakaya practice is the innermost secret mind treasure. The praise is meaningful and true. This great treasure's yellow scroll, the vajra verses without any alteration or corruption, is greatly beneficial. Until now, none of the lineage lamas have added, subtracted, modified, or mixed the text, so its blessing is particularly superior to others, like an unchanging golden box. With unwavering faith and devotion, from now on, regard the yidam as the root, diligently practice the recitation and accomplishment, and properly protect the root and branch vows. Thinking, "I will keep the vows," repeat after this pledge.
