Do not discard. Gather as much as possible of Tibetan and Chinese medicines, meats, etc., from decayed and putrid corpses. It is important to gather only those that are clean and undamaged, not those that have lost their scent due to wind and sun, or are contaminated by the smell of smoke or other substances, and are not too old. If the meats are not complete, as stated in the Guhyasamaja Tantra, create many images of humans and animals in fine powder using embossing and printing, and from the green nṛ(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) emerge humans, and from thousands of yellow su(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) that dissolve into light emerge birds, beasts, wild animals, domestic animals, aquatic animals, burrowing animals, and so on, transforming into endless varieties of forms. Consider these forms to be the meat of those who have died due to their respective karmas, and mix them together. This is very important. In particular, for fulfilling the vows of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities, the meats of the five animals—elephant, peacock, lion, gyiling, and shangshang—are indispensable. If they are not complete, yak, wild duck or swan, white dog, white horse, and white crane can be used as substitutes. It is said that whether they are real or in image, these are important. It would be best if the five types of medicine could be prepared according to the detailed explanations in our own texts, but since it is difficult to put into practice, we will use a method that is easy to distinguish by color and taste. Saffron and other reddish-yellow colors, chebulic myrobalan and other astringent tastes, and rock candy and other sweet tastes, precious gold, and all reddish-yellow types such as barley and safflower should be placed in the center. Nutmeg and other white colors, gentian and other bitter tastes, precious conch shells, and all white types such as rice should be placed in the east. Cardamom and other blue colors, emblic myrobalan and other sour tastes, precious lapis lazuli, and all blue types should be placed in the south. Red sandalwood and other red colors, dried ginger and other pungent tastes, various salts, precious coral, and all red types of blood should be placed in the west. Herbal medicines and other green colors, various mixed tastes, precious turquoise, and all green types should be mixed as northern medicines. Grains, flowers, and fruits should also be mixed according to their respective colors. It would be best if the five groups could each be woven separately. However, nowadays, for the sake of convenient and simple practice, only the symbolic offerings, sadhana objects, and types of deities are kept separate, while the rest are all mixed together, like making an early woven fabric. This is how the medicines are mixed.

Collect according to the proportions. Grind very finely and filter through fine cloth. Although it looks fine, calculation errors occur when it swells with moisture, so the fine cloth must also be fine. The base for making pills. Mainly place human meat in the center. Place white bodhicitta and beef to the east. Place brain marrow and dog meat to the south. Place red lotus and horse meat to the west. Place urine and elephant meat to the north. Although these should be placed, since it is only passed down, it is actually impossible to find them all, so place medicines. Place haritaki, nutmeg, cardamom, agarwood, and the three fruits in the center. Place camphor, borneol, vajra ash, white sandalwood, and relics to the east. Place bibhitaki, cardamom, three kinds of bezoar, चित्रक to the south. Place lychee, red sandalwood, amla, apple, peach, cinnabar, and three substitutes to the west. Place saffron, stalactite, stone flower, white frankincense, and musk to the north, wrapping a small amount of each. The five essences or binders known as "སྐྱོབས་". Haritaki from feces, borneol from bodhicitta, red sandalwood from human meat,杜若 from रक्त, and musk from urine are also mixed separately. There are many differences in the proportions of medicines in the scriptures and practices, but according to the actual pure tradition, haritaki must be the base, so put more. It is better if the bones can be removed. Bibhitaki, amla, and saffron each account for a quarter. White sandalwood, red sandalwood, and black agarwood together account for a quarter. nāgī, dulamāgī, vam, and lychee together account for one-eighth. All other good medicines together account for a quarter. All herbs together, and meat and other internal medicines together each account for one-eighth. The scepter accounts for a quarter. Prepare as much Indian musk as possible. Aristolochia tagala accounts for half. Honey and sugar are mixed about a quarter each. For those in places like Kham, where good medicines are scarce and economic conditions are poor, more bee-raised rapeseed tsampa or fine flour can be added. Powders of rue and Aristolochia tagala, etc., can be added a little more. Herbs represented by sweetgrass should not be added too much. In addition, all the necessities mentioned below must be prepared. The time should also be chosen in spring and autumn, when it is cool and warm, and there is no risk of rotting and freezing, which is very good. In particular, the eighth day is considered a special day, so it is best to start or carry out the main work on this day.
