From the Profound Path Heart Jewel, combining the root great accomplishment and the nectar medicine accomplishment two's accomplishment outline, named Accomplishment of Two Nectars' Food. Homage to the Guru, Deva, Dakini). The Three Roots, vast heart jewel, is the essence of wisdom's heart, which dwells as a stream of blessing nectar in the lotus of the heart, accomplishing great bliss vajra. Whoever connects with it will be liberated on the spot. The gathering of secret mantras is the practice of the assembly. The order of activities related to nectar medicine, may the Three Roots protectors grant blessings upon its arrangement. In general, this profound path is the unobstructed root heart practice of the Lama Gongpa Duspa, clarifying the heart jewel, a selected Dharma collection. Therefore, all words and meanings appear to be condensed into its essence. Due to the connection between Dharma mother and child, it is based on this and divided into three parts: First, establishing the foundation of practice with the five perfections. Second, straightening the main body of practice with the four branches of approach and accomplishment. Third, completing the practice with the subsequent activities. The first part, commonly known as the five perfections, includes the teacher, place, retinue, time, and resources. The teacher should possess the characteristics of a Vajra Master, such as the eight qualities, and especially be perfected in the empowerment, transmission, oral instructions, approach, accomplishment, practice, and realization of this particular practice. The place should be blessed by Guru Rinpoche and be a practice place of previous accomplished ones, auspicious, blessed, and complete with favorable conditions. The retinue, from the Vajra and Karma Dakinis to the sweeper, should possess the qualities described in the scriptures, and at least be free from faults of breaking vows and doubt, and possess faith and wisdom. The time should be auspicious and prosperous, the waxing moon of the four elements, and auspicious signs, such as the eighth, fifteenth, and twenty-third days of the waxing moon, when practice increases. The tenth day of the waxing moon, blessed by Guru Rinpoche. Auspicious conjunctions of stars such as Hevajra. The resources are the Lama, Yidam, and Dakini.

For the sake of the supports of body, speech, and mind of beings, the supporting substances for practice, the articles of offering, and the necessary conditions, one should act as the scriptures say, without being negligent due to thinking it is insignificant, but exert effort to the best of one's ability. Because everything arises from interdependent origination, it becomes the cause for completing the accumulation and swiftly attaining realization. In particular, the practice of nectar medicine is a profound practice with extremely high stakes, so Dharma brothers and sisters should not harbor resentment that violates vows, and should not have doubts or wrong views about the view and conduct of secret mantra. It is very important to have faith, interest, and diligence. The medicines must be pure and not bound by stinginess. Even if one owns them, one should measure their value with gold and silver like a merchant and engage in trade, which is considered an important aspect of interdependent origination. The substances to be practiced for nectar actually require the five nectars and five meats, as well as eight roots and a thousand branches, as extensively explained in the tantras and instructions. However, now, according to the way of merely talking about it and not being able to actually do it, just going through the motions and practicing with intention, those mentioned above should either be genuine, qualified substances that have emerged from treasure, or be based on them, and be a reliable lineage of the most complete medicines practiced by previous vidyadharas. In this tradition, the external nectars and medicines described as protection, as well as similar types of the eight roots, such as rue, red sandalwood, lychee, Manu, saffron, nutmeg, agarwood, and cinnamon. As for the branches, one can mix as many Tibetan and Chinese medicines as possible, but some should not be used. Substitutes for color and flowers, such as blue meadow decorations, Daphne tangutica, pea flowers, etc. Substitutes for fragrance, such as juniper, black pine, garlic, sparrow droppings, etc. Substitutes for taste, such as Coptis chinensis, white and red Datura, ash salt, rock salt, fragrant barley, etc. Substitutes for potency, one should abandon all poisons such as aconite. In the treasure texts, it is said that one should collect a thousand types of meat from each type of bird and beast, so it is difficult to gather enough meat. In some later oral traditions, there are many things that are said should not be used, but the commonly recognized meat substitutes are marmot, antelope, bear, marmot, and mule meat, etc.
