Holding the rotating vajra cross-staff in the right hand, pointing the threatening mudra at the heart with the left hand, trampling the solar disc with both feet in a throwing posture. Outside of that, on the four-spoked wheel are the four wrathful ones such as vajra kīla. Behind that, on the ten-spoked wheel are the ten great wrathful kings, such as the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) gesture. All the main deities and retinues appear extremely wrathful, complete with all the attire of wrathful deities, and manifest in the midst of blazing wisdom fire. Above are the root and lineage lamas. In the middle are the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas residing in the ten directions and three times, the vajra wrathful deities and wrathful mothers. Surrounding the perimeter are the wisdom goddesses, surrounded by command attendants and messengers, residing like dense clouds, visualize clearly. By generating devotion to them, blessings descend from the expanse of the sky from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The wrathful deities perform dances, the wrathful mothers dance gracefully. Having done that, start from the beginning of the sutra and dharani, recite once up to the near-heart mantra, and place the torma on the head. Ring the bell, and scatter during the near-heart mantra. Again, visualize that from the three places of body, speech, and mind of all those deities, countless small wrathful deities and vajra weapons emerge swiftly and gently dissolve into your body, speech, and mind, thereby purifying all diseases, evil spirits, obstacles, hindrances. Scatter the sutra and dharani etc. as before. Again, from the three places of body, speech, and mind of all the deities, blazing piles of wisdom fire emerge, burning all the obstacles, hindrances, Vetala, king demons, nagas, yakshas, earth lords, curses, harm-doers, etc., that harm and injure your body, speech, and mind, like burning a feather in the fire, turning them into black charcoal. Recite the dharani etc. as before. Again, from all parts of the bodies of those deities, white wisdom nectar emerges, gently dissolving into your body, speech, and mind, dispelling all diseases, evil spirits, sins, obstacles, hindrances, like the sun chasing away shadows.

All the deities dissolve into light, and the wisdom nectar drips down purely white, bestowing it upon you, purifying all the diseases, demons, sins, and obscurations of body, speech, and mind. You all become Vajra Krodha, dark blue, holding a crossed vajra and a threatening mudra. Visualize your entire body adorned perfectly, every pore filled with small Krodhas, the size of mustard seeds. After reciting this, cleanse the torma with fragrant water and offer it. If you are the reciter, then offer it at this time, as in the recitation transmission empowerment ritual. It is not necessary in ordinary circumstances. Then, putting on the armor: Visualize the armor of the four mudras arising from the light of the front-generated deity, covering you like an ointment, so that from now on, no obstacles or hindrances can penetrate.
