May that be accomplished! As long as sentient beings exist, May I diligently work for their benefit, And having liberated all from samsara, May I attain enlightenment! The path of the luminous Vajra Essence, Having perfected the four visions, May I hold the body of great transference, And practice limitless benefit for others! May all beings who rely on me, In this life or in the bardo, Or in the future, travel to the pure lands of the Nirmanakaya, May all be liberated primordially! May all my actions, Become for the benefit of sentient beings, May I cross the ocean of existence, And attain Buddhahood in one lifetime! The great secret treasury of all Buddhas, The supreme and unsurpassed doctrine, Like the sun rising in the sky, May it flourish in all realms! Then, invoking the samaya and receiving empowerment: Guru Vajradhara, The sole friend of the three realms of samsara, The refuge of beings without protectors, The great ladder to liberation, The lamp that dispels ignorance. To the assembly of darkness, I seek refuge. In the muddy ocean of samsara, Save me, helpless and drowning. When tormented by the fire of the three poisons, May you cool me with self-arisen Moisture. All the coarse body, speech, and mind, Bound by the delusion of ignorance, In the self-liberated nature of clear light, May I attain complete nirvana. Guru Buddha Precious One, I have no other hope than you. Look upon me with eyes of compassion, I pray to be liberated from the ocean of samsara. May all goodness be accomplished in this life, And may there be no obstacles or hindrances, At the time of death, may I seize the profound clear light, And may I be saved from the dangerous straits of the bardo. All that is done by body, speech, and mind, May it always benefit others, May all circumstances from this day forward, Be transformed into the supreme path of enlightenment. From the liberation of bondage, having obtained the two supreme wisdoms, may the two purposes be spontaneously accomplished. Thus, pray. All the wheels of the mandala of the Lama of appearance and existence dissolve into light and merge into the retinue. The retinue merges into the main deity. That very one comes to the crown of one's head with great joy. A stream of nectar descends from the big toe of the foot. From the crown of the head of myself and all sentient beings, it pervades all the inner and outer parts of the body, purifying the obscurations of the body, and obtaining the accomplishment of the body. It descends to the throat, purifying the obscurations of speech, and obtaining the accomplishment of speech. It descends to the heart, purifying the obscurations of mind, and obtaining the accomplishment of mind. It descends to the navel, purifying the impurities, and obtaining the accomplishment of qualities. It descends to the secret place, obtaining the accomplishment of activity. The Lama dissolves into light with great joy and merges into oneself, so contemplate that the body, speech, and mind of the Lama and one's own body, speech, and mind become inseparable, and rest evenly in the expanse of the realization of the great primordial purity and self-illumination. When rising from that, all appearances are the body of the Lama, all sounds are the speech of the Lama, all thoughts and awareness are the mind of the Lama, and the container and its contents are the play of wisdom. Thus, believe. By this virtue, may I quickly become the glorious Lama, etc. Dedicate extensively in whatever way is appropriate. Imagine that all the earth and space are filled with the assembly of deities of the Lama Yidam mandala, the oath-bound ocean, like dense clouds, raining down flowers and uttering auspicious words, and with one voice: That auspiciousness which from the sphere does not move, spontaneously accomplished, Body and wisdom inseparable, perfect Buddha, Primordial protector, the glory of all samsara and nirvana, Samantabhadra, the five families of conquerors, together with the ocean, May all the completely pure auspiciousness bring happiness and well-being! The essence of clear light, all elaborations completely pacified, the supreme path, Completely white and individually unmixed, free from impurities and stains, The realm of individual self-awareness wisdom, vast and boundless to roam, May the auspiciousness of the sun of the sacred Dharma bring happiness and well-being! The treasury of liberation, the wish-fulfilling jewel, the field of merit for beings, The noble Sangha, the Vidyadharas, together with the ocean of oath-bound ones, The sky-goers accomplished from the world, radiating clouds of blazing light, May the auspiciousness that bestows supreme accomplishments bring happiness and well-being!
