Whatever you say is a rain of nectar of a million virtues, A stream of wisdom that pacifies the heat of afflictions, The essence of skillful compassion that nurtures the sprouts of enlightenment. I prostrate to you, the wish-fulfilling jewel! Whatever your mind is, it is profound, peaceful, free from elaboration, and without conceptualization. Whatever meaning is thought of in the minds of the reverent, The source of supreme and common accomplishments, the unparalleled Treasure of jewels, I prostrate to you! To summarize, it is by that power. To elaborate a little, Because you are the treasure of all qualities, Even just remembering your name, Pacifies the decline of my mind. I prostrate to the glorious lama! With immaculate qualities greatly increased, Becoming the crown ornament of all beings, The wish-fulfilling jewel, I prostrate to the feet of the lama! With the light of understanding what to accept and reject, Clearing away the darkness of ignorance for all beings, The supreme orb of the immaculate sun, I prostrate to the feet of the lama! With the cool rays of merit and wisdom, Making the garden of benefit and happiness greatly increase, The supreme orb of the pure moon, I prostrate to the feet of the lama! With the supreme medicine of the nectar of the sacred Dharma, Curing the diseases of afflictions and suffering, The skillful physician for beings, I prostrate to the feet of the lama! With the great ship of skillful means and wisdom, Ferrying across to the shore of the ocean of samsara and nirvana, The powerful captain for beings, I prostrate to the feet of the lama! Protecting from all harm, Accomplishing immeasurable benefits, The loving protector, the sole friend of beings, I prostrate to the feet of the lama! Secondly, regarding the offerings, the outer offerings: All the hundreds of millions of billions of realms, Filled completely with the nectar of offering water possessing eight qualities, I offer to the supreme lama, May all beings have power over the ocean of meditation!
