I bow to the source of all light in the snowy land! Among the majestic Buddhas and Tathagatas, having donned the armor of aspiration that reaches the end of space, like the most solid diamond shell, I bow to the one who embodies the deeds of a thousand Buddhas. Holding and compiling the Buddha's teachings, initiating the writing system of Tibet, and first inviting the chariot of Dharma, etc., I bow to the great emanation who transforms according to the times. Although having attained the position of holding the treasury of Dharma, still promoting the most excellent clear light Vajrayana, and raising the victory banner of Dharma, I bow to the one who became the source of the profound secret teachings. Reviving the fallen Kama teachings from their roots, continuing the dried-up tradition of ripening and liberation of profound treasures, through the transmission of the heart essence oral instructions, I bow to the one who holds the life force of the three yogas. Just by the chariot of the great translator's aspiration, the great sun of secret Dharma was newly invited, I bow to the abbot, preceptor, and Dharma king who together descended upon the center of Tibet. Taking the supreme jewel of uncontested self-arisen treasure, and averting the degeneration of the degenerate age for beings, with a hundred gestures of unfeigned ascetic conduct, I bow to the one who solely accomplished great deeds. The prophesied time has come, the place of Orgyen Dakinis, the second excellent lineage of ripening and liberation, flows together with the teachings of the Sage, it is the place where wise and accomplished swans dwell, I bow to the island in the immeasurable ocean. The lineage is pure, the oral instructions are extremely profound, the conduct is pure, and possessing great wisdom, like gathering the virtues of Indian and Tibetan scholars in one place, I bow to the one who established such a Dharma system. Though there are many scholars, you alone understand the secret meaning; though there are many accomplished ones, you alone have outstanding achievements; though there are many treasure revealers, you alone benefit the Dharma; in the minds of impartial people, you are as cool as the moon. Because the minds of beings in the degenerate age are deeply obscured by darkness, your teachings are also not very clear, I pray that you unleash the power of your wisdom, compassion, and ability, and may your activities blaze like a million suns! May I also become inseparable and unified with you, may the two benefits be spontaneously accomplished, and may the light of temporary and ultimate bliss be undiminished, pervading all realms of existence and peace!
