One should gain a clear appearance. Then, within the bindu at the tip of the nose, visualize the celestial mansion, and within that, visualize the assembly of deities of the bindu as before. If one gains a clear appearance of that, then within the celestial mansion, visualize the forms of the deities as the spokes of the mandala, and one should gain a clear appearance. If one wishes to visualize the seed syllables in the cavity of the bindu, then first, within the bindu at the tip of the nose, visualize the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, हूँ, hūṃ, 吽) and whatever seed syllable of the deity there is. Also, at the places of the deities in the spokes of the mandala's deities, visualize their respective seed syllables, and gain a clear appearance. Within the bindu at the tip of the nose, visualize seed syllables equal to the number of deities, and also within the celestial mansion, visualize the mandala of seed syllables. If one gains stability in that, then visualize the form of the deity. Alternatively, visualize the hand implements in the cavity of the seed syllable, as before. Secondly, at the heart of oneself visualized as the deity, visualize the wisdom being. At its heart, visualize a bindu the size of a mustard seed, which arises from the dissolving of the samādhi being. Within that, visualize the mandala of the bindu as before, or the mandala of letters, or the mandala of hand implements, whichever it may be. Finally, within the bindu, visualize the mandala complete with support and supported, and proceed as before. Thirdly, at the tip of the vajra jewel of oneself visualized as the yidam, visualize a bindu the size of a mustard seed. Within that, visualize the mandala of the bindu, or letters, or the mandala of hand implements, whichever it may be. Finally, visualize the wheel of the mandala complete with support and supported, as before. It is sufficient to visualize any one of the three—the tip of the nose above, the tip of the nose below, and the tip of the heart. It is not the case that one person must visualize all three. Through familiarizing oneself with such a method, gaining a clear appearance of the wheel of the mandala complete with support and supported within the subtle bindu is the perfection of single-pointed mindfulness. Such a person, even if they have never practiced the completion stage in this life, will have the opportunity to practice the completion stage in a future life, and will undoubtedly attain supreme accomplishment. Secondly, the instructions on Mahāmudrā have two parts: preliminaries and the actual practice. The first is: As explained in the context of the generation stage, or...

Alternatively, visualize the root guru in front of you. Visualize a white A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿) as the essence of bodhicitta residing on a moon cushion in the guru's heart, and generate strong devotion. Second, in the main part, first establish settling the mind. Relying on external objects: Place a black object of focus, such as a tree, in front of you. Look at it with your eyes and focus your mind, placing it at a distance. At that time, if drowsiness or discursive thoughts arise, cut them off as in the common methods. Again, at a slight distance, do not fix the mind on the object, but rest in a state of non-thought. Meditate in this alternating manner. Alternatively, the second object of focus is: On a small stone slab in front of you, draw a swastika (藏文:གཡུང་དྲུང་,梵文天城体:卐,梵文罗马拟音:svástika,汉语字面意思:雍仲) symbol with red ochre. Focus your eyes and mind on it, keeping the swastika steady and still. Then, relax your awareness and slightly relax your eyes, imagining the swastika spinning around. Alternatively, the third object of focus is: Build a circular mandala-like structure in front of you with grains of barley or pebbles. At a slight distance from it, build another mandala-like structure as before. Then, place a small bridge made of something like straw between them. Then, focus your mind and eyes on the edge of the mandala in front of you and circumambulate it about seven times. Among the five ways to settle the mind on internal objects, the first is to focus on a bindu Visualize a black bindu at your navel and focus your mind on it, then rest in a state of non-objectivity. The second way to settle the mind is: Imagine yourself residing in the expanse of empty space. Then, gradually dissolve from the edges of your body, until finally your body disappears and you rest in a state of non-objectivity. The third way to settle the mind is: Imagine a black human head on your right and another black human head on your left. These two heads run from the left and right and fight each other in front of you. Do this repeatedly to settle your mind, and finally rest in a state of non-objectivity. The fourth way to settle the mind is: Focus your mind on the eastern sky. Similarly, focus on the east of the east, and the east of the east again, etc. Focus your mind on the endless eastern sky. Similarly, focus your mind on the endless sky in all ten directions, and finally
