Rest in a state of non-objectification. Then, realizing that there is no certainty in enemies and friends, and that wealth and body have no essence, completely sever the connections with them. In the sky above the thirty-three heavens on the summit of Mount Meru, in the center of the perfectly arranged and abundant Tushita Pure Land, the victorious Maitreya, the Protector, faces our Jambudvipa. In the center of one's own empty body, the lower end of the central channel is closed about four finger-widths below the navel, and the upper end, the Brahma aperture, is wide open. In the heart center, visualize the deity Avalokiteshvara and others, the essence of wind and mind inseparable. I pray to the Lama Maitreya, the Protector, the very essence of all refuges combined. Grant your blessings to sever the bonds of self-grasping from their roots, and to transfer consciousness to Tushita. Having prayed in this way, a yellow tube of light emanates from the heart of the victorious Maitreya and touches one's own crown. At the same time, a hook of light extends from within it, passing through the central channel, and touches the hair of the Great Compassionate One in one's heart. Generate the perception of the light as the path, the perception of oneself traveling on that path, and the perception of transferring to the heart of the noble one. With these three perceptions, pray intensely, and at the moment of being completely drawn and touching the heart, remember that the mind of the Victorious One and one's own mind have become inseparably mixed. Again, aspire to abide in one's own place. Practicing in this way again and again, when gathering the session, imagine that the tube of light is completely cut off and that one's own Brahma aperture is sealed tightly. When applying it to actual practice, do not focus on descending, but rather remain in the state where the mind of the Victorious Maitreya and one's own mind are inseparably merged. The third is: Knowing this itself as the Bardo, Transforming the outer, inner, and secret, Through the yoga of emptiness and compassion, The wise should connect the continuum. To practice the meaning of these words, first think that all appearances of the day are like dreams. When you become proficient in this, and the realization that a dream is a dream arises, strongly generate the intention to remember all daytime appearances as the Bardo. When you become accustomed to this, all outer phenomena are pure realms, and all inner contents are the body of the Great Compassionate One, and these

Whatever appears, its nature is unestablished, transformed into something like a moon in water or a rainbow. Forcibly abandon ordinary appearances and attachments. Especially during the bardo, the thoughts of attachment and aversion towards parents will hinder rebirth in a good place. Therefore, as an antidote to attachment, cut the root of the three stages of arising, dwelling, and ceasing, and expand bliss and emptiness. As an antidote to aversion, take the vow of great compassion, remembering all beings as parents, and consciously grasp existence itself. In all lives, may we obtain the special support of leisure and opportunity, and be embraced by a qualified spiritual friend who shows this path. Relying on this, may we practice properly and attain the state of union in one lifetime. We must aspire to this! May we be able to do so, we pray! In order to be able to do so, may the Lama and the Three Jewels know, we pray! We must strive to unite these three into one. In short: Whatever arises, recognizing it is the key to view; not being distracted from it is the key to meditation; remembering equanimity is the key to conduct; this is the instruction of the great accomplished one. The meaning of what was said is that at all times and in all ways, recognize whatever thoughts arise and know them to be like empty space, without reality. This is the key to view. In that state, abandon the faults of sinking and excitement, and rest single-pointedly. This is the key to meditation. In the post-meditation period, remember all appearances as dreams and illusions, and maintain equanimity towards pleasure and pain. This is the key to conduct. Practicing in this way is to make accomplishment the essence. This is the profound instruction of the great accomplished one Mitra Joki, who is the holy Avalokiteśvara appearing in human form, adorned with twenty wonderful biographies. It is the complete and unerring path to Buddhahood, so we must take its essence as much as possible on the support of leisure. It is said: Thus, the supreme accomplished ones of India and Tibet, on this chariot that has become the one good path, when boundless sentient beings enjoy loving-kindness and joy, may they go to the city of the heart of enlightenment. This was also said when ripening the guidance of this path for one's own disciple, Gyayang Tenzin, and other fortunate ones who are single-mindedly devoted to the wheel of meditation that abandons worldly thoughts.
