That is the obstacle removal of the vase-holder. Like illusion and dream, the key instruction for blending the practice of Mahamudra, the union of calm and insight, with various objects is: Whatever you see, whether it is a color like white, red, blue, yellow, green, etc., or a shape like round, square, crescent, oblong, triangle, etc., whether it is good, bad, or in between, recognize that all of it is the mind's appearance, the nature of illusion. In a state beyond intellect, without mental fabrication, rest evenly upon it. Whatever sound you hear, whether it is pleasant, unpleasant, or in between, whether it is gentle, harsh, etc., recognize it as the Great Seal, empty and resounding like an echo. Rest evenly in a state of non-conceptuality. Likewise, whatever arises, whether it is a fragrance, a sweet taste, a touch that is soft or rough, or good or bad thoughts, recognize its nature and rest evenly in a state of non-conceptuality. Furthermore, in all situations of the four postures—walking, standing, sitting, and lying down—whatever arises, rest evenly without acceptance or rejection, affirmation or negation, grasping or attachment, without alteration, naturally, openly, and clearly. The way to blend the pure generation stage with the practice of Mahamudra is: visualize the deity's form as clear as a rainbow, and then rest evenly upon it in clarity and emptiness, without grasping, like a reflection in a mirror or the moon in water. Furthermore, blend it with the practice of Mahamudra while engaging in idle talk, jumping and running, when the thoughts of the five poisons arise, and when indulging in the eight worldly concerns. If you cannot blend them, practice it again. Recite short and long mantras, and recite sutras, etc., while recognizing your own nature in the state of non-conceptuality, sound and emptiness inseparable. Similarly, perform the seven-branch practice, circumambulation, offering tormas, making tsa-tsas, and whatever sequence of practices you do, perform all practices in a state of non-grasping, clear emptiness, and beyond intellect. By this, the two accumulations will be transformed into union. If you see that it has not yet been achieved, stay in a secluded place, rest evenly, and exert yourself diligently. Again, see if you are able to blend them again or not. If you are able to blend them, then having accomplished the union of the two accumulations, the two benefits will be spontaneously accomplished. In short, whatever activity you do, recognize your own nature, be clear and distinct in clear emptiness, be open and spacious in appearance and emptiness, and be free and unconfined in non-conceptuality.

He said, "If it is not mastered, then strive to master it." These are the enhancements of tranquility and insight. The instruction for the illusory body is: Go to places where people live, and after doing things like pushing people, you will be hit back. Observe whether there is attachment, hatred, and self-grasping. If there is, then practice the illusory body again. Similarly, have people say pleasant and unpleasant sounds, and practice like an echo. Similarly, observe whether there is attachment and hatred to fragrant and unpleasant smells, and to unclean tastes and molasses. If there is, then practice the illusory body. Observe whether there is a difference between coarse cloth and silk. Observe whether there is a difference between scattering sparks from the right and applying incense from the left. Observe whether the mind's thoughts appear as Dharma, and whether sinful thoughts are identified. All of these, like the eight examples of illusion such as illusion, dreams, and echoes, should be practiced with equanimity, free from all grasping and attachment, in a state of selflessness. If it is not mastered, then practice again in solitude. In that state, singing, dancing, playing music, and all Dharma practices should be done with the practice of illusion and dreams. By this, it will be mastered. In the state of dreams, the instruction for cutting off the basis of distraction is: Awakening distraction is: waking up as soon as you have a dream. The way to eliminate it is to place awareness on a black dot on the sole of the foot or in the secret place, and lying down relaxed will eliminate it. Confused distraction is: being confused as soon as you are aware of a dream, which is said to be caused by clinging to reality. Therefore, it is important to practice illusion and dreams diligently, and especially when you are aware of dreaming, it is important to keep your awareness unscattered. Forgetful distraction is: waking up after dreaming and then forgetting it. The way to eliminate it is: to stabilize the memory of illusion, and to eliminate it by placing the memory on a white dot between the eyebrows. Lazy distraction is: being distracted from practice and overwhelmed by laziness in Dharma. For this, it is important to mainly meditate on impermanence, forcibly cut off attachment to the world, and diligently engage in practice. The instruction for clear light is: It is said that the key to the body's channels is to be straight, the key to the breath is to be held, the key to the elements is to be stable, and the key to the mind is to be free from the obscurations of grasping and being grasped. These four are the keys to the appearance of clear light. The key to transference is not being attached to anything, and placing awareness on the crown of the head.
