And, if one realizes that the body is without attachment, it is shown as body, speech, and mind. There are also two meanings to the conclusion. Emaho! Showing from the aspect of the meaning of the name. Practice! There are four of these: the practice of not clinging to diligent mind, and sacred places, etc., special instructions, if the appearance of conditions becomes a burden, that is the view, and it is very important to frequent sacred places in sacred places. The concise meaning of the Great Collection of Teachings is complete. Commentary on Chöd. Homage to the Perfection of Wisdom Mother! Quiescent from elaboration, peaceful, unconditioned. Unobstructed great compassion, mind towards the other shore. Like a blooming lotus, fully blossomed, without flaws. Compassionate to beings, the Able One and all his sons I prostrate. From the inexpressible realm, the collection of names and letters. Manifesting the treasury of eighty-four thousand teachings. The essence of all is the Perfection of Wisdom. Composed are the words for severing the discursive thoughts of practice. The teachings of the Buddhas and their sons, and the countless manifestations that have appeared in the world, have taught many treatises and instructions, which are included in both the Lesser and Greater Vehicles. But the greatest of these is the Great Vehicle. Of the two views of the Sutras and Tantras, the ultimate is the Perfection of Wisdom. There are two ways to practice it: first, to diligently study and establish through reasoning and logic that it is free from the eight extremes of elaboration, and second, to rely on settling within to dismantle the appearance of reality of forms, etc., into illusion. Elevating both to the state of non-duality of subject and object, this is the Chöd instruction that severs from the outside in. There are two parts to this: the history of how it arose, and the actual instructions. The first part is the three ways of transmission, and the history of Machig Labdrön and others, which should be learned elsewhere. The second part is the instructions, of which there are three: the oral instructions of the Sugatas, the transmission of empowerment and blessing, and the transmission of prophecy. The first is the written record of Machig Labdrön's own mind experiences, of which there are four: the outer collection of teachings explains pacification and expansion in detail, the inner is the introduction and establishment of the limbs, the essential point is to reveal the core, and the secret is transformed into symbolic language.

These are. Among these, the most excellent Great Collection of Teachings has three parts: the beginning, the main body, and the conclusion. The first part has three parts: showing homage with two verses, that is, mentioning "unspeakable" and so on, to indicate being away from the extremes of elaborating on meaning. That is, for those noble ones, what has become manifest, the nature of all elaborations being completely pacified, is unspeakable. Because ordinary people cannot infer it through thinking. It is beyond the object and the object-holder, it is the nature of being devoid of all those with the obscuration of objects. It is paying homage to that very perfection of wisdom. That is, "Inexpressible, unthinkable, unspeakable, Perfection of Wisdom, Unborn, unceasing, the nature of space itself, The field of experience of individual self-awareness wisdom, To the Mother of the Buddhas of the three times, I pay homage." Because it is no different from this. The second part is, with the name "Collection of Cutting Teachings," the name is mentioned first. The third part is, with five verses such as "For the benefit of some," vowing to explain, and it is a brief indication. That is, the root of all dharmas is unreality, and to realize it, one must abandon the two obscurations. And the root of the obscuration is from the alaya, through conceptual thought, clinging to duality and triality. Because clinging and attachment arise from perceiving forms and other objects as real, they become demons that obscure the unreal. That is, the mind is originally empty, and naturally clear and luminous, and abiding in that is no different from the wisdom of the Buddha. As it is said in the sutra: "If you realize your own mind, you are a Buddha, so do not seek the Buddha elsewhere." Therefore, one should diligently cultivate the concept of not seeking the Buddha elsewhere. Secondly, the meaning of the main body is divided into two parts: a brief explanation and a detailed explanation. The first is, for the self-aware, self-illuminating dharmakaya, what is the obscuring demon? That is, obstructive, unobstructed, attachment, and pride. These four also arise from the root of pride. The detailed explanation is divided into three types: first, for the first type of individuals, specifically indicating the four demons and then practicing them; second, using examples to practice unreality; and third, showing practice that is free from examples.
