Having... As it is said, "On the correct path, that is the demonstrative word." Therefore, the treatise that expresses meaning is able to reveal the meaning to be expressed, and there is an unfailing connection between words and meaning. By revealing this, it must be possible to understand the subsequent content, and after understanding, by practicing, obtaining the fruit of enlightenment is the purpose of the purpose. Having these four qualities is the characteristic of being the most excellent treatise. The three points of the treatise: briefly indicating, explaining in detail, and finally summarizing. The first point has three aspects: the method of keeping body, speech, and mind in balance, the state of mind, and revealing the benefits of understanding in this way. The first point is: placing the three basic precepts on top. This is a unique method for realizing the Prajnaparamita, relying on the many samadhis spoken of by the Mother, it is the instruction for meditating on these samadhis. The three bases are body, speech, and mind. The meaning of the precepts is the nature of the three doors of liberation—the Prajnaparamita, placing it on top of that. At the same time, purifying the habitual tendencies of the six realms. From secret places and so on, it is said that there are habitual tendencies of the six realms in the mind, maturing in the body, and it is said that there are root syllables of the six realms: on the sole of the foot is tri (藏文,梵文天城体:tri,梵文罗马拟音:tri,汉语字面意思:ത്രി), at the secret place is pre (藏文,梵文天城体:pre,梵文罗马拟音:pre,汉语字面意思:प्रे), at the navel is du (藏文,梵文天城体:du,梵文罗马拟音:du,汉语字面意思:दु), at the heart is nri (藏文,梵文天城体:nri,梵文罗马拟音:nri,汉语字面意思:नृ), at the throat is su (藏文,梵文天城体:su,梵文罗马拟音:su,汉语字面意思:सु), and at the crown of the head is a (藏文,梵文天城体:a,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:अ). Relying on these bases, the habitual tendencies are gradually collected, and by mixing space and awareness, illusions are purified, thereby realizing emptiness. When imparting instructions to a disciple, first take refuge and generate bodhicitta, and then impart the instructions. Second, revealing the state of bodhicitta is: recognizing awareness that is without fabrication or adulteration. The root of samsara and nirvana is the mind. For it, no cause or condition is established. It is unborn, single-cut, and empty in nature. By relying on this method, recognize the root of samsara and nirvana—the mind, cut off clinging to existence and non-existence, thereby establishing the mind. By establishing the mind, all of samsara and nirvana are established. As Saraha said: Mind itself is the single seed of all, from which samsara and nirvana arise, giving all desired fruits, I prostrate to the wish-fulfilling jewel-like mind.

Lo. Thus it is said. Therefore, the mind is not produced from a cause, nor created by conditions. Shape and color are not formed at all. It is unborn and rootless, empty by its very nature of decisive singleness. All phenomena do not transcend this, and this is the reality. Third, the benefits of realizing this are: realizing it in this way is like cutting off the root of a tree, the branches of conceptualization will never grow again. When the root of the mind is cut off, one will not return to samsara again, and when the continuum of delusion and conceptualization is cut off, one will attain liberation. The practice of blending space and awareness will be explained in detail below. This method is not mentioned in other treatises and is a special feature of this instruction, so it is taught first. The detailed explanation is divided into three parts: first, the cause, which is generating the supreme bodhicitta; second, the path, which is the actual instruction for practice; and third, the result, which is the explanation of the fruit of practice. The first part is divided into three parts: the preliminary of generating bodhicitta, the main part, and the explanation of the precepts. The first part is: whatever appears to the mind, whether real or unreal, offer to the guru and the Three Jewels with vast offerings. This shows the activity of the teacher, arranging the supports and offerings according to one's means, visualizing the Great Mother in front, surrounded by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and three times, the lineage gurus above, and the protectors below, inviting them, and offering whatever is available, as well as the offerings created by the unreal mind, and the three kinds of offerings that appear in the mind without being grasped by oneself, offering as much as possible. Second, the main part is: after offering prostrations and offerings, take refuge and generate bodhicitta with reverence. This shows the activity of the disciple, prostrating to the guru and the Three Jewels, offering whatever offerings are available, and then taking the vows of individual liberation with a reverent mind, and taking the vows of the bodhisattva who generates bodhicitta, and then imparting the above instructions. Third, the precepts of that are: the guru's precepts should be guarded like the eyes, and the bodhisattva's precepts are that one should not abandon them even for the sake of one's life, and one should strive to protect the precepts. As it is said in the Bodhicaryāvatāra: "The sons of the Victorious Ones, having firmly grasped the bodhicitta in this way, should always strive without distraction not to transgress the precepts."
