Firm of intellect. This is by me, Dharmaśrī. Secondly, there are three parts: preliminaries, main practice, and conclusion. The first part has four points. Firstly, the opportunity for the path of liberation to arise in the mindstream is obstructed by attachment to samsara. Therefore, contemplate on the difficulty of finding leisure and endowments, impermanence of death, the faults of samsara, and how karmic results ripen, so that experience arises in the mindstream again and again. Secondly, the opportunity for instructions to dawn in the mindstream is obstructed by karmic obscurations. To purify these, take refuge and generate bodhicitta as a preliminary. Visualize on a lotus and moon seat on the crown of your head, the Bhagavan Akshobhya, blue in color, with his right hand in the earth-touching mudra and his left hand in the meditation mudra holding a vajra. He is adorned with the garments of a celibate and sits in the vajra posture. From his body, rays of light emanate, purifying all karmic obscurations of yourself and other sentient beings. Then, recite the mantra of Kamkani as much as possible, and finally dissolve the deity into yourself. Thirdly, the opportunity for experiences and realizations to arise is obstructed by broken samayas. To purify these, visualize on a lotus and moon seat on the crown of your head, the Vajrasattva, white in color, holding a vajra at his heart with his right hand, and a bell resting on his hip with his left hand. He is adorned with silks and precious jewels and sits in the half-vajra posture with his right leg extended. At his heart is a white Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽). From this Hūṃ, a stream of white nectar flows down from the toe of his right foot, enters through the aperture of Brahma, and permeates the inside and outside of your body like sesame oil, purifying all sins, obscurations, and transgressions, which are expelled from the path of urine and feces and from the toenails. Finally, visualize your body as pure as a polished crystal ball. Then, recite the hundred-syllable mantra as much as possible, and then dissolve the Vajrasattva on the crown of your head into yourself. Fourthly, the opportunity for definite understanding and blessings to enter is obstructed by not regarding the lama as a reliable person. Therefore, take refuge and make supplications. Visualize on the crown of your head the gathering of all root and lineage lamas, the venerable Indian master, with a smiling face. On his crown is Manjushri, the Lion of Speech. Visualize the sky filled with wisdom dakinis surrounding both of them. With intense devotion of reliance and abandonment. I take refuge in the Buddha! I take refuge in the Dharma! I take refuge in the Sangha! I take refuge in the Lama! Recite as much as possible. Precious Lama, the embodiment of all Buddhas of the three times, please consider me.

Grant me the supreme realization! Grant me the arising in my being of selfless altruism and great compassion, free from attachment! Grant me the arising of various pure visions! Recite as much as you can, and if you wish, recite the lineage supplication such as "Namo Guru. At the Vulture Peak Mountain." Having prayed in this way, white rays of wisdom light emanate from them and dissolve into your crown, thereby purifying all sins and obscurations. The wisdom of bliss and emptiness arises in your being. Finally, visualize all the deities dissolving into light with immeasurable compassion, gradually dissolving and merging from your crown, thus receiving blessings. Second, the main part: The venerable and holy master summarized the instructions of the fifty-five accomplished ones into five key points and taught them. Therefore, here are five key instructions of meaning symbolized by five examples. First, the twelve lineages of characteristics, sound, and reasoning were transmitted to Nagarjuna, and gathered into instructions like the sky. This has four aspects: studying in relative truth, studying in ultimate truth, studying in union, and also not abiding at all. The first is: For beginners, meditate to reverse attachment to outer and inner appearances. In a secluded place, on a comfortable cushion, with legs in vajra posture and hands in equipoise mudra, etc., with the seven dharmas, with the body posture, these objects appearing outwardly and inwardly, although they seem to be true, in reality they are just illusions of one's own mind, and there is no establishment at all in reality. So, repeatedly practice the thought that it is like a dream. The experience of meditating in this way is: the mind of clinging to the truth of appearances is reversed, the appearance of form is like the moon in water, the sound is like an echo in a valley, the smell is like a city of gandharvas, the taste is like illusory food, and the touch is like being with a beautiful woman in a dream. Such experiences will arise. Second: Having turned away from attachment to appearances in this way, meditate in order to become familiar with the unborn of ultimate truth. Body posture as before. Looking and searching intently for the nature of one's own mind, but because no nature such as shape or color is established, it is determined to be unborn. Thus, spontaneously rest the primordially pure awareness in the state of luminosity free from elaboration. While resting like that, the movement of discursive thoughts
