It is not like that. Therefore, these two are the teachings of Drogon Sangye, so the seal is released. It should be known that those subtle differences in meditation are like a swamp. Therefore, these two became the vessels for the oral transmission of the wisdom dakini Niguma. They were taught for the sake of some disciples who did not need the complete cycle of teachings. For them, there also appeared perfect individuals with special realizations. Even if the essential points are gathered in the "Great Instructions," there is no conflict in doing them separately, just like the illusory body on a single seat. Therefore, just as the great accomplished master Khyungpo separated and composed the illusory body on a single seat, Drogon Tonpa also composed these two. At this time, it must be understood that there is no difference between the good and bad of the authors. Apart from the difference between the "Jewel Garland of Light" and these two in terms of poetry and prose, and whether or not speculation is involved, there is no difference in the essential meaning. Thus, even if the main points of meditation are extracted separately from the extensive methods of instruction, those supreme beings have blessed each of the various categories of instruction. Therefore, even now, it is very good and appropriate to guide students with these methods of instruction according to the intelligence of each disciple. In general, for verbal instructions, it is necessary to hear from the lama and remember a teaching that is not mixed with verbal errors, without omissions, and without mistakes, and with an extensive lineage of transmission. For instructions on meaning and experience, it is not necessary to arrange them in the same way as listing extensive instruction manuals. Rather, relying on one or two meditations, if an experience that reaches the standard arises, then it will become the basis for all meditations. Furthermore, if someone does not like the extensive and concise explanations of the Six Dharmas, but prefers a Dharma that bears the name of Niguma's Six Dharmas, then in the former of these two, add transference and bardo, as well as the "Jewel Garland of Light"; and in the latter, add tummo appropriately on top of the former. If the way of adding is put in the main text, there may be a danger of mixing the teachings of accomplished masters, so it would be better to add them separately. Other than that, the instructions for Niguma's Six Dharmas...

It is said to be a ritual text. Like the one composed by Je Gedun Gyatso, it was not spoken by Niguma, nor heard by Kyungpo. It is a fabricated "Nigu Dharma" that none of the lineage lamas ever conceived, merely chasing after the name, and only serves to deceive fools who do not understand the Dharma. If it is said to be a pure sequence of practices explained from other Dharmas, then what is the point of giving it the name "Nigu Dharma"? It is completely unacceptable to give the name "Shang Dharma" to something that does not have even a single aspect of the Shangpa Kagyu practice. The so-called "Illusory Body Single Seat" practice comes from the oral instructions of the great accomplished master Kyungpo: In the Illusory Body Single Seat, there are four supplications and eight aspirations. The four supplications are as in the case of those with inferior faculties. The eight aspirations are: impermanence of death, devotion to the guru, awareness of falling asleep, awareness of illusion and dreams, practice of purification, increase, transformation. The order of practice is: first, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, purify, and contemplate emptiness. Generate a strong sense of renunciation of the impermanence of death, making more effort than usual. Guru yoga is the same as the usual illusory body practice. After the guru dissolves into oneself, visualize oneself clearly as the deity, and also focus on all external appearances. Whatever appears, immediately visualize it clearly as the deity. Contemplate everything at once, thinking: all of this is a manifestation of my own mind, and that mind is also unreal like an illusion. Especially, think: I have fallen asleep, all these appearances are just dreams. Practice strongly, alternating between the aspiration of unreality and the aspiration of dreams. During session breaks, also meditate without distraction on the triple aspiration, and especially add the aspiration of dreams. Before going to bed, also strongly practice the aspiration of dreams and the aspiration of unreality, and fall asleep in that state. There is no need to seek other dream-grasping instructions; it is considered sufficient to do just this. After that, the practices of purification, increase, and transformation are taught as in the detailed Six Dharmas. For more details, one should consult the instruction manual of Khedrup Gyaltsen Bum. If one has certainty about the actual instructions, then even just these words are sufficient.
