Gathered under control. Thus, when the five root winds are controlled, the five branch winds are also controlled. In short, the Father Tantra emphasizes wind, and the Mother Tantra emphasizes channels. All of these are controlled by one Tummo yoga that permeates the body's key points. Others have only a rough approximation of this Tummo yoga, just the name. This is the difference between having and not having the transmission. Second, regarding the distinction of wind yoga, no one understands the key point of "wind having no inner or outer." All those on the path of skillful means think that if the wind stays inside a little, merit arises, and they are satisfied with that. If it goes outside, they think that merit is lost, and as a result, they make great effort but have little merit. All of this is because they do not understand that wind and mind are inseparable, and that wind has no inner or outer. All phenomena of samsara and nirvana are the self-nature of wind and consciousness. Therefore, there is no inner or outer. Just like space, wind and mind pervade everything, but they are not the essence of space. Therefore, clinging to the distinctions of body and mind, existence and non-existence, discriminating thoughts, inner and outer, are all illusory appearances. In reality, there is no difference. Entering the central channel also means that without inner or outer, wind mind is clear like the essence of space, free from movement, and becomes one. It is not that all the winds are gathered and stay in one channel. That is also the ultimate central channel. Through the interdependence of the three inner, outer, and secret, when the channels enter the central channel, there is no longer inner or outer, wind and mind are clear like the essence of space, and the winds of arising and ceasing and the thoughts of grasping and being grasped are cut off. Thus, the wind enters the central channel. Through entering and dissolving, whether the wind dissolves outward or inward, there is no difference in merit. Even if the wind dissolves while moving in the middle, there is no difference. If it dissolves through skillful means, all of these will equally generate merit. Whether the mind dissolves outward or inward, or dissolves while moving, there is no difference, because non-conceptual awareness will arise equally. All of this is because wind and mind have no inner or outer. Therefore, the great accomplished Virupa said that for making arising the path, there are three branches of giving up; for making dissolving the path, there are two branches of filling; for making abiding the path, there is union. The sum of all these is the oral instruction of life-force exertion. Also from the Kalachakra, wind yoga

Thus it was said. It is said that all qualities arise equally. Thus, by the key point of non-differentiation between outer and inner, when mastering the winds and essences, there are two types of winds: subtle and coarse. The subtle wind is said to be the clear place pervaded by the mind. The wind is said to have five root winds and five branch winds, totaling ten. The winds of the nine orifices circulate throughout the body, and all of them must be mastered. If they are not mastered, the knots of the five chakras cannot be undone. The knots of the twenty-four places cannot be undone. The wind cannot be stopped, and wisdom will not arise. Nowadays, most people who practice wind meditation only focus on preventing the upward-moving wind from escaping and preventing the downward gate from functioning, but this kind of wind meditation does not achieve its purpose. Inhale deeply, and when the force of the wind is complete, combine it with a drop of saliva. Focus and tighten, straighten the body, and contract it into the lower abdomen. For example, even if bellows are full of air, if they are not rolled up, fire will not ignite. Similarly, even if the body is full of air, if it is not contracted into the place below the navel, bliss and warmth will not arise. The third is filling. Then, without pressing down, relax the upper body and leave a slight gap between the teeth. When the wind stops relaxed in its own place, tighten it firmly and contract it into the lower abdomen. If you don't tighten it, the power of the water wind will increase. The lower wind should also be done by bending the body three times, and then pull hard like closing the door of a Rakshasa. If wind comes out from the soles of the feet, do not move. If you control the lower wind from the beginning, without a lama and essential instructions, wind disorders are likely to occur. The reason is that the two winds, hot and cold, are like horses and yaks. If they are not balanced, obstacles and harms will occur. If the upper wind is slightly mastered and then the wind is controlled, the upper wind will give rise to the blissful and clear nature of warmth, and when the two warmth are balanced, obstacles will not arise. Both the upper and lower winds can be endured and suppressed violently. Whether or not you can endure it is the key. In this way, eleven winds must be mastered, because by specifically mastering the pervading wind, the pulsation of the veins will stop. The downward-clearing wind reverses upwards, and the power of the fire wind increases, so bliss and warmth arise. The life-sustaining wind separates the essence and impurities, so the movement of thoughts ceases. When the upward-moving wind enters the essential place, the hot wind
