One should accomplish all that benefits other beings, contemplating it as one's own benefit. Then, contemplate beings as superior to oneself. When one experiences illness or discomfort, may all the suffering of all beings ripen upon me. May all beings possess happiness. Having made such a vow, one should not harbor the thought of abandoning the suffering that they must endure. When one's own goodness or virtue arises, one should not claim it as one's own, but rather bestow it upon all other beings. This is the cultivation of relative Bodhicitta. Ultimately, by looking at the face of suffering itself, the object of suffering gradually subsides, and one abides in the primordial state, which is the cultivation of ultimate Bodhicitta. When training in this way, one actually gives one's own perfections to others, and takes on the suffering of others as one's own, like a swan entering a lotus pond. Seventh, the meditation on "Chikchok" (Single Cut): It is the meaning of being uncreated and beyond mind. Without being tainted by the defilements of fabricated dharmas and mind, it is without meditation, and naturally rests in the very nature of the unscattered mind. This is the actual path of Buddhahood, therefore it is called "Chikchok." So, isn't it necessary for Buddhahood to practice the union of skillful means and wisdom? It is indeed necessary. Here, since emptiness is not meditated upon, appearance is not abandoned. Therefore, not negating appearance is the aspect of skillful means. Since things are not grasped as real, emptiness is not abandoned, and not abandoning emptiness is the aspect of wisdom. These two abide in the inseparability of essence, like water mixed with water, and practicing in inseparability is called the union of skillful means and wisdom, without the fault of falling into any one side. Therefore, all outwardly directed awareness gathers into the power of its own reasoning, and is called subduing the appearance of others for one's own use. Eighth, the meditation on effortless accomplishment: Whether walking, sitting, eating, or sleeping, at any time when thoughts arise due to circumstances, do not regard them as faults, and do not generate the thought of abandoning them. Since thoughts themselves are empty in nature, do not meditate on emptiness with the mind. Although thoughts appear to exist, they are intangible, so do not cling to them as real. In that state of awakened awareness, relax and abide without any fabrication.

Therefore, from an object of appearance, one enters into the state of reality, the Great Seal. If you grasp this key point, then walking, sitting, and lying down; whatever food you eat becomes a Tsokhor (feast offering); sleeping or falling asleep becomes luminosity; whatever actions you take become Dharma. Ninth, establishing karmic connections: At all times and in all circumstances, whatever actions of body, speech, and mind you do, use them solely for the benefit of others, without any selfish desires. Without attachment or clinging to all the merits of body, possessions, and the three times, give them selflessly to all sentient beings. If you experience harm, cherish the one who harmed you even more because of it. Vow that the cause of harm will not cause suffering to that person, and that in all lifetimes, you will accomplish all benefits and happiness for them, leading them to the path of liberation and omniscience. Dedicate the root of virtue to them. If you have power, it is said that you can also subdue the unruly through forceful actions and so forth. Tenth, alternating practice: Train in emptiness for even a moment's arising of sinful or virtuous thoughts. Afterwards, confess sins with the four powers, and dedicate virtue as the cause for accomplishing the two benefits. In this way, the body, speech, and mind will not be wasted, the two obscurations will be purified, and the two accumulations will be naturally completed. Eleventh, the four empowerments: Pray to the assembly of the Lama and Yidam. From their heart, the five consorts, with precious vases, empower you with streams of five nectars, the essence of the five Herukas. Visualize that your body, speech, and mind enter sequentially from the crown of the heads of the deities, and all the impurities of the four bodies of body, speech, mind, and wisdom, like black mud, flow out from the toes, and the body becomes pure and filled with nectar. This is the outer empowerment. Through this, recognize the aggregates, elements, and sense bases as deities. Recognize the winds and mantras as union. Recognize the bindu as the nature of bliss. Recognize bliss as the union that possesses all kinds of excellence. This is the inner empowerment. Bless my body and the Buddha's body as Vajra, speech and the Buddha's speech as Vajra, mind and the Buddha's mind as Vajra, wisdom and the Buddha's wisdom as Vajra, inseparable like water and ice. This is the meaning empowerment. Twelfth
