Since this arising and occurring is without interruption, there arises the common view of thinking it is permanent; and the egoistic clinging of thinking that this flowing knowledge exists within one mind where it comes from; and also the illusion of thinking that if external appearances are blocked, one can achieve non-discrimination, therefore thinking that external appearances must be blocked, and considering external objects as objects to be blocked; and also the mistake of thinking that the cessation of thought activity, the cessation of joy and happiness, the cessation of the movement of memory and awareness, and the cessation of breathing in and out are ultimate, and clinging to meditation as ultimate; and also the deviation into the path of unconsciousness, thinking that clarity without discrimination is ultimate, clinging to objects as characteristics, and thinking that the cessation of concepts is ultimate; and also if one thinks that the cessation of all appearances and obstructions, like space, infinite consciousness, nothingness, and neither perception nor non-perception are ultimate, then it is a deviation into the formless realm. These and other evil views such as the collection of fears of the three realms all arise because of not understanding this mind, which leads to the arising of all afflictions, and therefore it becomes a mind with afflictions. Its root is from the unreal conceptualization. Having seen this, even if the outer six consciousnesses abide in their own nature of clarity without discrimination as wisdom, due to the clinging to characteristics by the mind, it is disturbed and makes choices, thereby generating all the sufferings of samsara. By generating the antidote of virtuous knowledge, all the happiness of samsara is generated, and one understands the way it arises. For both abandonment and antidote, this mind that thinks and runs, in equanimity, abide in its own nature of clarity and emptiness, and separately train in the four meditations, the four formless absorptions, and cessation. In the post-meditation state, one should be skilled and understand all the ways in which the causes, conditions, and results of all thoughts to be abandoned and antidotes are accomplished. Because one understands that the concepts thought in the three spheres cause obscuration, one should seal all phenomena with the seal of emptiness and selflessness, the equality of suchness. One should not be arrogant with the alaya consciousness, thinking of it as self and mine. Until one has purified all afflictions and has not gained control over all thoughts, one should exert effort and practice. The detailed content is explained in "Self-Liberation of Thoughts" and the teachings with four connections, so one should consult them. The six consciousnesses are clear and not

Discernment. Direct perception is free from discernment, knowing and becoming familiar with it. Relying on this, the direct perception of one's own awareness and mind appears like a reflection of the moon in water. Based on that, the afflicted Alaya and the wisdom like a flawless mirror appear in a way that measures the true nature. Manifest afflictions, both gross and latent, are transformed into abandonment through antidotes, and after realizing one's own nature, the pure wisdom that knows separately how many realizations of the two abandonments there are, and having obtained power over its Samadhi, at that time, the Alaya becomes manifest. All the discriminations of suchness and the result are purified in that instant of liberation. At that time, Buddhahood is attained. Alas! Not realizing this principle, children are bound by self and what belongs to self. Hearers and individuals are bound by the bondage of the antidote to selflessness. Having practiced the skill of grasping at phenomena, even if one attains self-realization, the part of clinging, not realizing the Alaya, remains on the path. The complete Buddha who realizes everything is therefore unsurpassed. Three, indicating the meaning of the aftermath: Thus, when generating Shamatha and Vipassana, if thoughts of sinking and excitement arise, then recognize the cause of sinking and abandon it. The method should be accompanied by a cool feeling. Release blood. Let awareness dwell pervading all objects. One should look at and contemplate the constantly profound Sutras, Tantras, and Shastras regarding cause and effect. If excitement and scattering arise, then gather it together, because the mount of the mind is the wind, so bind it. Strike the target at the key point. Examine yourself and meditate on the meaning of the nature of reality. Seal it with the Samadhi of bliss and meditate. Thus, at the time of practice, the conduct is free from the two extremes, and it is experienced without violating the vows and Samaya. That is, the yogi who meditates should not falsely do what is not realized, and should not prevent the practice of realization. One should rely on benefiting oneself and others. Like that. In one sitting, one should first be held by refuge and Bodhicitta, and finally dedicate it for the benefit of all sentient beings equal to space, and seal it with aspiration prayers. Thus, the nature of the practice of view and meditation is said by glorious Tilopa: Boundless liberation is the king of view, and without distraction is the practice of
