The root of all attachments is thinking "I am," The root of attachment propagates all of samsara. The notion of thinking "it is emptiness," Thinking "it is without characteristics" and "without aspirations," Thinking "it is without grasping" and "completely pure," Thinking "it is unborn" and "without object," Thinking "it is without inherent existence" and "apart from elaboration," Thinking "it is not the realm of speech and mind's judgment," And thinking "it is unmade and spontaneously accomplished," and so on. No matter how profound and empty you conceive it to be, Because arrogance and attachment to characteristics have not been moved, Due to attachment to characteristics, one falls outwards and into inferiority. Inferior actions cause the uninterrupted continuation of maturation. Unable to cut off the cycle, diseases arise greatly. Those great meditators who are makers of views through their minds, Have entered the path of cutting off the disease of biased attachment. Know that it is the coemergent wisdom free from thought. For the sake of the definitive meaning, it is merely an imputation. To say, "This is the definitive meaning of reality," Even the Sage (Buddha) could not see it. What I have said cannot be measured either, Understand it like pointing to the moon with a finger. If you understand in this way, you will not be obscured by collections of words, You will not incur the fault of words. Therefore, one should not abandon words and analysis, Nor should one become attached through self-conceit. Such is the nature of one's own mind, It pervades afflictions, conceptual thoughts, aggregates, elements, And all sentient beings, including the sense bases, It pervades all containers, such as earth, stones, and plants.

And emptiness inseparable is emptiness. Bliss inseparable is great equanimity. Likewise, existence and nirvana are indistinguishable. Thus, the all-pervading mind itself is the Great Seal. Since its nature is emptiness, it is not apprehended by anything. The miraculous display of characteristic awareness is clear in everything. Its essence is indivisible, the union of Vajrasattva. Inexhaustible, indestructible, and imperishable, no one can steal the mind of the treasury of space. The mind is stainless, pure like crystal. The mind is self-aware, self-illuminating, like a lamp. The mind is the essence of enlightenment, naturally radiant. The mind is like a river, without interruption. The mind is like space, without apprehension. The mind is without inside or outside, the wisdom of penetrating clarity. Like a clean bowl filled with water. The mind is filled with all habitual images. Like the surface of a mirror wiped clean of tarnish. The chapter on view ends. Thus, the innate mind that abides, due to the power of conditions of misinterpreting what is not understood, from the imputation of grasping at self and mine, by the power of perversion, afflictions and, the collection of discriminations greatly increase. By this, karma is accumulated, and by the ripening of karma, in the unbearable waves of the river of samsara, with unbearable suffering such as birth and death, one is distracted and distracted, and constantly oppressed. In the various appearances of the six kinds of beings, with various habitual tendencies of wrong views, the mind is filled and discriminations are increased. With various kinds of perverse misdeeds, in various kinds of unbearable sufferings, one constantly experiences them again and again. By the very experience, ignorance increases again and again. The uncomprehending body is repeatedly disturbed by desire, anger, and, pride, jealousy, miserliness, and so on. Alas, who can trust in this samsara? If one realizes the nature of one's own innate mind, the darkness of misinterpretation will be cleared. Liberated from the clinging to self, afflictions, and attachment, one will surely be liberated from all karma and suffering. The Dharmakaya that has always been present will be manifested. As aspiration increases, the benefit of others will be effortlessly accomplished. The cause is ease, the path is ease, and at the time of the fruit, there is ease. The auspicious connection and hope of passing beyond sorrow. The suffering of the three realms of samsara, where the cause, path, and fruit are suffering.
