From this arises the realization of co-emergent emptiness, the merits of contaminated channels and winds increase, and the intermediate heat is obtained, so the path of joining is traversed. Then, in the manner of the four joys of lower stability, the essence of the bindu reverses upwards and stabilizes between the crown of the head. Gradually, the thirty-two knots of the central channel are released. The pulse elements of the twenty-four places are purified. The six chakras are cleared of obscurations. The twelve winds of ten thousand and eight hundred gradually cease. The twelve bhumis are gradually attained. Moreover, when the first bhumi is attained, the truth of the uncontaminated is seen and great heat is obtained, so the path of seeing is traversed. During the remaining eleven bhumis, the qualities increase more and more, so the path of meditation is traversed. Then, even the subtle parts of the channels, winds, and bindus are purified of obscurations, so the ordinary body is purified and transformed into a rainbow body of wisdom. The thirty-two channels through which bodhicitta descends are purified, so it is endowed with the thirty-two marks. The eighty conceptualizations are purified in their place, so it is endowed with the eighty minor marks. The wind and mind are transformed into the appearance of wisdom, so it is endowed with a collection of rays of light. The samadhi of A-HAM (ཨ་ཧཾ་,अहं,aham,I) is perfected, so the Sambhogakaya of enjoyment and fulfillment is accomplished. Having attained the thirteenth Vajradhara bhumi, the path of no more learning is manifested. Moreover, the Dharmakaya is emptiness inseparable from compassion, non-elaborate, and immovable like the sky. The Sambhogakaya is the reflection of great bliss, appearing adorned with marks and signs. The Nirmanakaya is the emanation of various forms that tame beings according to their needs, performing the benefit of beings. These three kayas are inseparable in the uncontaminated realm, which is the Svabhavikakaya. As long as samsara is not empty, it abides without moving from the four kayas. Furthermore, the common way to traverse the bhumis and paths through these instructions is as follows: From the time of receiving empowerment until the mind is stable in the generation and completion stages and all the contaminated qualities are generated, the path of accumulation is traversed. From the ability to generate the four emptinesses that dissolve the winds into the central channel until the exemplary clear light and the illusory body of hidden meaning are obtained, and approaching the attainment of the clear light of meaning, the path of joining is traversed. By manifesting the clear light of meaning, the path of seeing of the first bhumi is traversed. Then, until approaching the attainment of the learning union, the seven bhumis and below are traversed. From the attainment of the learning union until the attainment of the no more learning union

In the interval close to this, one attains up to the twelfth bhumi and practices the path of meditation. Then, when the Vajradhara of the Great Bliss with seven branches of the non-learning union appears, one attains the thirteenth bhumi, the bhumi of Vajradhara, and practices the path of non-learning. Thereafter, until samsara is empty, one dwells immovably in that very body of the non-learning union. The meaning of the body of union is that the clear light of the object and subject possessing such twofold purity is the Dharmakaya, and the Rupakaya, which is the basis of that and is made up of only wind and mind, is the Sambhogakaya. Since these two bodies are one in essence but differ only in emphasis, they are called the body of union or the body of wisdom. By that, the infinite manifestations, including the supreme Nirmanakaya, are manifested as the Nirmanakaya. Until samsara is empty, the benefit of beings arises effortlessly and spontaneously. Thus, the essence of the Great Secret Path, the ultimate of all completion stages, this very sequence of instructions on the profound path of the Six Dharmas, has been requested for a long time by the individuals who uphold the tradition of the Practice Lineage. The works composed by the great accomplished masters are only the root texts, and the subtle instructions must be known from the mouth. Although some who wish to understand the key points of the instructions have made them into books, they are merely a large collection of words, and the key points of the meditation sequence are not clear. Those that are slightly separated also seem like fabrications that do not conform to the tantric texts. Nowadays, those fortunate ones who make practice the core are extremely rare, and even those who are slightly devoted to practice seem to be satisfied with gaining some understanding and experience of the limbs of the path. Therefore, the necessity of this for those people is less. However, for the sake of those fortunate practitioners who use the profound meaning, those who possess wisdom and have firm armor of diligence, so that they can easily realize the key points of the path. The key points of this instruction are scattered throughout the lineage, and it seems difficult for the spiritual friends of the degenerate age to fathom. Therefore, motivated by the pure intention to prevent the lineage of instructions from being interrupted, I have listened to and contemplated all the commentaries on the Great Secret Tantras and the scriptures of the Practice Lineage, as well as the paths of liberation.
