Sa, the lamp of the union of emptiness and appearance of wind is born. Third, there are two types of bindus: defiled bindus and undefiled bindus. Defiled bindus are the red and white bindus that flow in the realm of the senses. If it is lost ordinarily, it will give rise to afflictions and desire. If it is transformed into the path, there is a wisdom bindu within it that is free from color, shape, and touch. Its essence is bliss, and its nature is clarity. When mixed with the defiled bindu, it becomes the union of bliss and emptiness. All the bindus with change become one, and in an upward form, they hold the kingdom of nirvana and abide. It is also called the merging of all bodhicitta. Because of mastering the non-dual wisdom of bliss and emptiness, the Bodhisattva gives birth to the lamp through the gate of the union of bliss and emptiness. Thus, when the three karmic roots, winds, and bindus are transformed into the path, they become the three wisdom roots, winds, and bindus. The root is clear and constantly permanent; the wind is non-conceptual and constantly permanent; the bindu is blissful and constantly permanent; bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality become one taste. Second, there are three ways to place the mind on unfabricated wisdom: by knowing the ground as self-arisen and unborn, by knowing the path as clear light and unborn, and by knowing the result as union and unborn. The first has four aspects: like the first Buddha, it is established as not coming from anywhere; like samsara, it is established as not going anywhere; like the child of a barren woman, it is established as not abiding anywhere; and like a flower in the sky, it is established as not being established anywhere. First, the co-emergent cause abides spontaneously. The first Buddha did not arise from this time, but is self-arisen. Similarly, the mind did not arise from here, so it is to be known as unborn and self-arisen and established. Second, samsara has no end that is exhausted from here, so it has not gone here. Similarly, the mind is unborn, so there is nowhere to go, and it is to be known as unceasing and established. Third, the child of a barren woman has no basis for establishment, so it does not abide here. Similarly, the mind is empty of all places, times, things, and so on, so it is to be known as non-abiding and established. Fourth, like a flower in the sky.

It is merely named lotus, but in reality, it does not exist. Similarly, for the mind, the object of meditation, the subject of meditation, and the goal, know that nothing is established, and then abide in that state. Second, through knowing the path as luminosity and unborn, placing the mind on unconditioned wisdom has five aspects: recognizing the empowerment meaning of self-arisen wisdom; indicating that the nature of reality as the support is self-liberation; the ground is free from elaboration and inexpressible; the path is beyond thought and non-conceptual; and recognizing that time is an inexpressible instant. First, what is the necessity of obtaining empowerment? It is to recognize the co-emergent wisdom that is inherently present in one's own continuum. If one recognizes it, even without receiving empowerment, one has obtained it; if one does not recognize it, even having received empowerment, one has not obtained it. So, if one recognizes the empowerment meaning of self-arisen wisdom, what will it be like? Second, it is explained by recognizing the nature of reality as the support as self-liberation. The empowerment meaning of self-arisen wisdom that abides in one's own continuum, because the nature of reality does not change in the three times, it is recognized on the state where all grasping and apprehended thoughts naturally dissolve. So, what is the ground of the nature of reality as self-liberation like? Third, the ground is free from elaboration and inexpressible. The emptiness of the nature of reality is not established in any entity. Because on it, existence is not established, therefore non-existence is not established; non-existence is not established, therefore existence is. The two are not established, therefore it is free from elaboration. So, what is freedom from elaboration itself like? It cannot be thought of by the mind, it cannot be expressed by speech. So, how does this ground that is free from elaboration and inexpressible proceed on the path of complete and perfect enlightenment? Fourth, it proceeds through the path being beyond thought and non-conceptual. Because on this path, there is not even a particle that can be entrusted to the mind or can be conceptualized. Why? Because the nature of the path is beyond thought. On the path beyond thought, there is nothing to do. So, how is the path that is beyond thought and non-conceptual practiced? Fifth, it is practiced by recognizing that time is an inexpressible instant. Do not chase after the previous instant that has passed, and do not welcome the future instant that has not yet come. In each instant of present awareness, between the two that have not been aware of before and after, there is a pure Buddha wisdom that has not been defiled by any conceptual thought. Recognize and practice it. The way of practice
