If clarity arises in this, one arrives at the purity of each deity. If one desires the absence of clarity and has the ability to make it absent, one arrives at the purity of suchness. Relying on these, the arising of a special experience of calm abiding leads to the purity of self-awareness. Then, during a session or a period of settling, one visualizes gathering all the environment and beings into the protective circle one has meditated on, and finally, one meditates on even the syllable ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) dissolving into a sphere of light. Because this is the essence of the gathering of the five families, it is the purity of each deity in the completion stage. Furthermore, visualizing the appearance of red and black like the tip of a flame, because this is the essence of great bliss, it is the purity of self-awareness. Furthermore, one meditates without any object of focus, and even meditates without grasping onto the mere act of non-objectification, this is the purity of suchness. These are the instructions for continuous settling. Third, definitely settling or settling after uplifting: If awareness scatters outward, one thinks, "My awareness has become wild," and quickly uplifts the awareness, swiftly placing the mind on the object of focus. Fourth, settling nearby: If the mind becomes weary with one object of focus, one meditates on the crown protuberance on the head, or various vajras, or fangs of the face, etc., for one session each, exhaling the breath, and then one should meditate on the same object as before. Fifth, taming: One should know that there are immeasurable qualities in samadhi, and even though the object of focus is not clear in all activities, one should tame the mind by constantly remembering the form of the deity. Sixth, pacifying: When thoughts arise and the mind becomes displeased, one releases the mind onto the object of focus and pacifies it. Seventh, pacifying: When unwholesome thoughts such as greed arise, one pacifies them by relying on the object of focus. Eighth, making one-pointed: When the mind abides without wandering outward, one makes it one-pointedly settle on that very object. Ninth, making extremely even: One clearly visualizes those objects of focus, along with ornaments, etc. One clearly visualizes them as the wheel of the mandala. Like that, just as one gradually trains in the objects of focus of the generation stage, one also holds the mind on the completion stage, which is like the tip of a flame. Starting from the three realms, one gradually gathers the wheel of the mandala and dissolves it into a sphere of light.

Meditate. If it is clear, like the tip of a lamp flame; if it is clear, like a horse's tail; if it is clear, like the extent of splitting a horse's tail into a hundred pieces. Finally, like the warmth of breath disappearing on a mirror, settle the mind in emptiness. After making such supplications, from the time of meditation until the break, or when wanting to remain, from gathering the three realms, gather them into emptiness. If wanting to arise, from the state of emptiness, arise with the pride of the main deity, remembering purity, sing the Vajra song, recite pure aspiration prayers, and abide in the yoga of conduct. Having become accustomed in this way, will the five signs of smoke, mirage, firefly, burning lamp flame, and cloudless sky be seen when meditating on the generation stage? Will they be seen when meditating on the completion stage? Will they be seen in equipoise? Even in subsequent activity, they will be seen. Without instructions, no matter how much one meditates, these five signs will not be seen. Thus it is said. Seeing these five signs and meditating in this way is the completion of the accumulation path for a beginner. When such five signs arise, one has transitioned to the second type of person, and is named as someone who has obtained a little bliss. For this person as well, from inviting the field of merit to generating the palace, it is the same as before. The difference in the generation stage sadhana is called the "second born from warmth and moisture," which means generating the root Vajradhara (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) and the retinue of all deities, as well as the fruition Vajradhara (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), all three arising in an instant without depending on the moon and sun, vowels and consonants. The remaining three Abhisamayas, inviting the wisdom being, empowerment, and sealing by the lord of the family, are the same as the previous Abhisamaya. In this way, due to the power of habituation, the mind becomes more stable, and due to the increase of the movement of wind and mind, during the accumulation of merit, the body feels intense bliss; during wisdom, more bliss and emptiness arise in the mind; during the actual practice of the generation and completion stages, body and mind are integrated into the union of bliss and emptiness; sometimes the appearance of the deity vanishes; experiences similar to direct perception in dreams arise. The second type of person abides on the heat stage of the path of joining.
