To the southeast, from the letter Shaṃ (Tibetan: ཤཾ་) arise the Cemetery Mother, etc.; to the southwest, from the letter Laṃ (Tibetan: ལཾ་) arise the Caṇḍāla Woman, etc.; to the northwest, from the letter Ḍaṃ (Tibetan: ཌཾ་) arise the various colored Yuṃ Mothers, etc., thus and so forth, residing in the center. On the eight petals, from the eight Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་) syllables being complete, from the east is Indra, to the south is Yama, to the west is the Water God, to the north is Yakṣa, to the southeast is the Fire God, to the southwest is the Rakṣasa, to the northwest is the Wind God, to the northeast is Īśvara, all of whom are blue in color, with one face and two arms, holding a vajra and a bell, embracing their respective consorts, residing on the lotus heart and eight petals of the Dharma-genesis below, from the nine Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ) syllables being complete. In the center is Speech Vajra, to the east is the Source of Power, to the south is Conch Guardian, to the west is Limitless, to the north is Wealth Increaser, to the southeast is Abiding One, to the southwest is Lineage Holder, to the northwest is Lotus, to the northeast is Great Lotus, all of whom are red in color, holding a vajra and a bell, embracing their respective consorts. All twenty-four of these emanations are seated on lotus and sun cushions in a posture of right extension, adorned with bone ornaments. From the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་) syllable in one's own heart, light radiates, and all the gods above dissolve into the eight great gods; all sentient beings dwelling on the earth dissolve into the eight directional guardians; all sentient beings dwelling beneath the earth dissolve into the eight great nāgas. In the eyes of all of these are the Delusion Vajra Mothers, etc., and in the heart is the Heart Vajra Mother. From the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་) syllable in one's own heart, light radiates, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions are invited in the form of the Hevajra nine deities, along with the assembly of body, speech, and mind vajra deities, reciting "Oṃ Vajra Samājaḥ (Tibetan: ༀ་བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ वज्र समजा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra samāja, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Vajra, Come)" and with the sound of cymbals. Each makes their respective mudrā, reciting "Oṃ Vajra Gaurī Ākarṣaya Jaḥ (Tibetan: ༀ་བཛྲ་གཽ་རཱི་ཨ་ཀརྵ་ཡ་ཛཿ)" etc., until "Vaśaṃ Kuru Hoḥ (Tibetan: ཝ་ཤཾ་ཀུ་རུ་ཧོཿ)". Again, from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་) syllable in the heart, light radiates, and the five families of empowerment deities along with their retinue are invited, reciting "Oṃ Vajra Samājaḥ (Tibetan: ༀ་བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ वज्र समजा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra samāja, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Vajra, Come)", with palms joined. White deer, etc., until embracing. Blessed One, Thus Gone One, etc., requesting "Please grant me empowerment." After requesting, the Buddhas, etc., recite "Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अभिषिञ्च हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: abhiṣiñca hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Empower, Hūṃ)" and empower from the crown of the head with the water of the vase.
