坚定地发起菩提心。如《请问加持经》中所说： 恒河沙数诸佛刹，若人以七宝充满，供养诸佛，不如有人合掌，于菩提心倾心，此福德尤为殊胜。 如是说。 第七，利益与圣教结合。 如《华严经》中所说： 善财童子于文殊菩萨前发起无上菩提心后，为广知菩萨之学处，依止五十二位善知识，往南方海边弥勒怙主为众多眷属说法之处，顶礼后禀白： 我已发起菩提心，然于其学处如何修学一无所知，祈请广说菩萨之学处。 弥勒菩萨告曰： 善男子，汝已为真正善知识所摄受，菩提心乃一切佛法之种子，能令一切众生之白法增长，如田地。焚烧一切罪业，如劫末之火。 灭尽一切不善法，如地基。 成就一切义利，如如意宝王。 圆满一切愿望，如贤瓶。 能从轮回之水中救拔众生，如铁钩。 于天、人、非天等世间，如佛塔。 总之，所有佛法与佛之功德，菩提心之功德与利益亦复如是。 何以故？ 一切菩萨坛城皆从此生，过去、未来、现在诸如来亦皆由此而生。 如是说。 如是，对生起具有无量功德之菩提心生起欢喜，并对此等语之义善加思维而欢喜。

Steadfastly generate the mind of enlightenment. As stated in the Sutra Requested by Blessings: "More meritorious is one who, having folded their palms and turned their mind towards enlightenment, than one who fills all Buddha-fields, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, with the seven precious jewels and offers them to all the Buddhas." As stated in the Avatamsaka Sutra: After the youth Noble Wealth generated the supreme mind of enlightenment in the presence of the noble Manjushri, in order to widely know how to train in the bodhisattva's disciplines, he relied on fifty-two spiritual friends. The mind of enlightenment is like the seed of all the Buddha's teachings. It is like a field because it causes all white dharmas of all beings to increase. It is like the fire at the end of an eon because it burns all misdeeds. It is like the ground because it exhausts all non-virtuous dharmas. It is like the king of wish-fulfilling jewels because it accomplishes all purposes. It is like a good vase because it completely fulfills all thoughts. It is like an iron hook because it extracts beings who flow in the water of samsara. It is like a stupa in the world with gods, humans, and asuras. In short, as many Buddha's teachings and Buddha's qualities as there are, so too are the qualities and benefits of the mind of enlightenment. Why is that? All mandalas of bodhisattvas arise from this, and all tathagatas who have appeared in the past, will appear in the future, and appear in the present are also born from this." Thus it is said. Thus, rejoice and be glad at the arising of the mind of enlightenment, which possesses immeasurable qualities, and think well and rejoice in the meaning of these words that arise.
