The true nature of past cause and effect is unseen. If one still desires a cause beyond cause and effect, then examine the nature of this phenomenon. What is the initial cause and effect of the five external objects? What is the nature of the mind, and what does it produce? Examining in this way, it is insubstantial like the sky. Since cause and effect have passed, it is the original state of Dharma, surely unmade, unborn, and spontaneously accomplished. What is the use of effort, practice, and attachment to it? All phenomena are inherently empty and selfless, yet due to ignorance and clinging, one wanders in this existence. Although various joys and sorrows appear from this, they are like a dream, not truly established in reality. It is the unmade, naturally pure Buddha, known to be primordially empty and without foundation. Whatever is examined by the intellect is empty in essence. For phenomena that are one and different, non-dual, the unwise cling to them as real, thereby binding themselves. The cage of various philosophical views offers no liberation. Following the teachings of definitive and provisional cause and effect, the cycle of existence never ceases with conceptually constructed dharmas. Thus, the three vehicles of cause purify the mind through strong abandonment and negation. Self-arisen wisdom is untainted and unadulterated; liberation cannot be found through countless samadhis and the like. Among the two vehicles that desire the result, the Kriya (藏文:ཀྲྀ་ཡ་,梵文天城体:क्रिया,梵文罗马音:kriyā,汉语字面意思:行为) of the three outer tantras, towards the Dharma nature of all phenomena being unified and pure, engages in dualistic grasping through the manner of master and servant, making choices of acceptance and rejection. One is never freed from the cage of hope and fear; clinging to one and two is adulteration. Upa (藏文:ཨུ་པ,梵文天城体:उप,梵文罗马音:upa,汉语字面意思:近) adulterates the naturally pure Dharma nature with dualistic confusion, like brothers and friends. By dividing acceptance and rejection in the essence of oneness, one can never see the ultimate essence. Yoga only modifies and adulterates Suchness with five manifest enlightenments and four miracles. There is no birth from the beginning, and no accomplishment later; the ultimate essence of mind is unseen. All are thorns of sixteen, seven, and three, obscuring the original nature's ground of liberation. Among the three inner tantras, Maha Yoga, with a pure mind, engages in the modification and adulteration of four stages of approach and accomplishment, and the gathering and dispersing. If it is original, there is no need for modification; if not, it is like a rootless knot in the sky. The essence without acceptance or rejection is unseen. Anuyoga's Dharmadhatu and wisdom are non-dual, and the single essence is subject to the modification of cause and effect.

Do. In the immaculate, non-dual nature of the sky, what use is there ever for bliss and emptiness? The Ati's non-dual generation and completion, bodhichitta, in the state of liberation from extremes, binds the essence of mind. Binding the mind itself with the noose of the sky is exhausted. Who would presume to hold onto even a fraction of emptiness? Without knowing the very nature of all appearances, one does not understand the meaning of all dharmas being equal, complete, and one. To a yogi who conforms to nihilistic views, who would one rely on to a great extent with their mind and intellect? Thus, those who strive, practice, abandon, and take, bind their own mind, immaculate, in a state of no object. Without the power to realize the very essence of the heart, due to bad fortune, bad dharma, and the bad extreme of accomplishment, one does not see the very nature of no abandonment or attainment. One progresses on the path and trains on the levels. Vows afflicted by the suffering of the disease of effort, and the cause of vows binding one to existence due to impurity, one does not transcend with the understanding of self-arisen wisdom. Even enlightenment itself is in the nature of the sky, enlightenment itself is the essence of the sky. Who could progress on the path of enlightenment? In the expanse of the sky, leave aside the mind that progresses, and see the meaning of no abandoning, taking, doing, or striving. In all dharmas, unarisen and without obscuration, grasping with the intellect causes deviation and obscuration to arise in duality. Going in what has no essence is deviation, seeing what has nothing to be seen causes obscuration to arise. Like cause and effect vehicles, each according to its own texts, as much as one strives and makes effort, that is how long deviation and obscuration prevent one from seeing the true nature. Just as when a virtuous person strives for virtue, however much they strive, that much deviation and obscuration occur. If you wish to see, do not strive for virtue, but look with certainty that you yourself are virtuous. Likewise, even striving with the mind of a pure mind, one becomes confused by becoming a seeker because of the object of striving. This is the very nature of the mind that is pure from the beginning; do not strive with drastic alterations, but leave it as it is. Because one views the single self-arisen as nine vehicles, deviation and obscuration do not arise, like ripples in water. Looking does not see, searching does not find. Leave it in its own nature, without establishing or eliminating what is primordially accomplished. There is no subtle fourfold depth of unknowing wisdom. Non-dual, unconnected, beyond the extremes of imputation and denial. Just as it is, its own nature, primordially spontaneously accomplished, whatever it is, it is that; leave it as the great all. Spontaneously accomplished, there is no need to strive or make effort. Nonexistent
