The Second Volume of the Instructions Treasury: Great Perfection, Equality, Self-Liberation. The Second Volume of the Instructions Treasury Great Perfection, Equality, Self-Liberation. This is called Great Perfection, Equality, Self-Liberation. Homage to glorious Samantabhadra! The Dharmakaya is equality, primordially enlightened. Inexpressible, beyond thought, the expanse of the vastness of space. Non-abiding, non-objectifying, in the state of Great Perfection. Homage to the completely pure Bodhicitta! The pinnacle of all Vajrayana vehicles. Transcending cause and effect, free from abandoning and adopting, hope and doubt. Whatever it is, it is everything, without any fixed identity. Therefore, listen to this meaning that is free from limitations and partiality. Samsara and Nirvana, primordially liberated, the Akanishta realm. Various, unceasing, in the palace of wisdom. The teacher of equality and completion, the unchanging nature of reality. For the sentient beings, the six realms, the three kayas, and the retinues. In the three times, timeless, the ground is complete, the time of purity. Teaching the Dharma without abandoning, adopting, effort, or accomplishment. Although the outer and inner activities of Dharma are immeasurable. The teachings are taught in nine vehicles. These are the order of the nature of the faculties. In the definitive meaning, everything is like the sky. There is no vehicle, and there is no definite arising. There is no coming, no going, no abandoning, no adopting, no attainment. Everything is the nature of reality, the unchanging state. However it appears, it has no inherent existence. Cause and effect do not mix, outer and inner Bodhicitta. Primordially luminous, the nature of spontaneous accomplishment. Therefore, in the self-arisen wisdom that is accomplished and clear, unobtainable. What is the use of outer and inner effort? Uncontrived, naturally abiding, the nature of reality. Relax in the ease of the three times, unchanging. If there is an object of this, it is the nature of grasping and clinging. Abide in its own place without negation, affirmation, abandoning, or adopting. Without abandoning afflictions, the five self-arisen wisdoms. Whatever arises is self-liberated, without abandoning or adopting. No need to purify or transform, mind is Buddha, Great Perfection. Primordially present, self-arisen, now spontaneously accomplished. Ordinary, various, spontaneously complete mandala. In the great palace of unmade, self-arisen. Form, feeling, perception, formation, consciousness. The five elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space. The nature of the five mothers, all phenomena are completely pure. Therefore, there is no need to abandon or adopt, empty with fierce transformation.

Om! All is in the state of equal taste, Great Perfection. Know that the ground is complete, pure from the very beginning. This very mind, devoid of root, empty by nature, Is the unmade, spontaneously accomplished Buddha. Remaining as it is, it abides in suchness, equally. Without beginning or end, without change of before and after. Transcending calculation and distinction, beyond all faults and obscurations. There is no ground to traverse, nor a path to have gone. For one who desires to train and progress in what is without essence, It is merely transforming the sky. Self-arisen wisdom is free from all fabrication and adulteration, Like a stainless ocean of the moon. Purity and impurity, one taste, great play of the expanse. This is the profound, essential space of realization. The all-creating, vast nature of reality is, The essence of all, the nature spontaneously pervasive and clear. Its essence is clear, and its compassion is unceasing, Having sought it as it is, it is spontaneously accomplished from the very beginning. From the nature of the single expanse, the nature of space, Not even an atom of another dharma is seen, Phenomena, emptiness, and the nature of reality as miraculous displays, The self-existing, spontaneously accomplished nature arises as play. Even the container, the contents, existence, and the Buddhas of the three times, Are not seen as other than suchness, Because it is unmade from the very beginning, and its nature is completely pure, Without sudden application, the awareness of essence is liberated. No effort is needed, it transcends all causes and conditions, Not self, not other, Not all, there is no fixed view. However it is examined, it is only a temporary appearance, If examined, it does not remain, because it is examined, it is empty of essence. Yes and no are mind, beyond mind is the Dharmakaya, Beyond separation, it is not other, whatever arises is without grasping. The nature of one is like space, In that, many extremes of establishment appear due to the mind of difference. The all-encompassing Great Perfection, the mind of enlightenment, Like space, it is pervasive and open, It is the great source of all dharmas. In the play of equal perfection of all kinds of dharmas, Pleasure and pain, high and low, are like illusions, like the moon in water. Appearing without being, therefore there is no contamination in reality. It is the state of spontaneous perfection, without duality. However it appears, it is not established by that, In the absence of cause and effect, free from imputation and slander, The Hinayana practitioners who rely on scriptures for good and evil, Will never encounter the true meaning. In terms of the ultimate meaning, unborn, pure from the very beginning, When it appears, it is not seen, free from the elaboration of grasping and clinging, Other than that, it is never seen, Om!
