When the body is detached, a kind of imperceptible bliss arises, which is called uncontaminated bliss. That is called the taste of emptiness dawning as bliss. Through the four key instructions, bliss, clarity, and non-discrimination become inseparable. That is also impartial, not falling into any side. These three merge into one essence. At the time of fruition, the four kayas will also appear in sequence. Focusing the eyes on the tip of the nose, from the Kalachakra: The Tirthikas and Brahma look upwards, the peaceful ones look downwards, the wrathful ones look straight ahead, the correct gaze is the tip of the nose. Thus it is said. Not closing the doors of the senses, from Dzogchen: The yoga of not closing the eyes, is superior to all yogas, it is called the lion's posture. Thus it is said. The senses do not move, from the Kalachakra: By the merit of the Karma Mudra, the three realms do not waver. Thus it is. There are three types: The existence of existence, the existence of how it exists, the existence of non-existence. The first is: The existence of the gods above, the existence of the nagas below, the existence of humans in between, none of these three will arise in the mind. The second is: One thought arises and another ceases, therefore the second thought will not arise in the mind. The third is: Whether one thinks of happiness, or thinks of non-discrimination, or thinks of inseparability, none of these will arise in the mind. Slightly inhaling the air below, the body and mind separate, thereby generating an uncontaminated bliss. There is also scriptural evidence for this, from the Prajnaparamita Maitreya Chapter: When the body has no feeling of existence, that is uncontaminated bliss, it is unsurpassed bliss, it is great bliss. Thus it is said. Keeping the tip of the tongue not touching the palate, the three inseparables of bliss, clarity, and non-discrimination arise in the continuum. There is also scriptural evidence for this, from Manjushri: Showing non-duality, abiding in non-duality, truly abiding. Thus it is said. Relying on raising from high to high, is to eliminate the faults of meditation. Although there will be no faults in mind-nature and dharma-nature, the body is composed of the four elements, if the four elements are not balanced, the body will become ill, and samadhi will not arise. If the earth element is too much, the body will be heavy, the blood circulation will be bad, sleepy, likes to lie down, likes to eat, does not like to talk. If the wind element is too much, one will like to walk and talk.

Oh! Sensations arise. If the water element is strong, one becomes dull, lethargic, loses memory, and falls asleep. If the fire element is strong, one becomes agitated and distracted. Since one cannot meditate when any of these elements is dominant, if the wind element is strong, then in the morning, during the time of wind, meditate on earth. Place one toe on top of the other, and embrace the arms with both hands. Press the two pulse points on the arms with the two thumbs, embrace the knees with the elbows, and bend the head downwards. In this way, the body curls up like a bent hook. The way of looking is to look downwards, focusing from the navel on yellow earth or a yellow sphere. If the wind element is weak, one session is enough, and meditative stabilization arises. In the afternoon, during the time of water, meditate on fire. The sitting posture should be comfortable, either with legs stretched out or in any comfortable way. The hands should also be the same. Expose the upper body, cover the lower body, and straighten the body. The way of looking is to look upwards. Awareness rises upwards at the crown of the head. At a distance of one cubit from one's own crown, focus on raṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:Let it be) or a red sphere and meditate. Do this seven times. In this way, one is liberated from faults and meditative stabilization arises. In the evening, during the time of fire, meditate on water. Sit in the vajra posture. Form the mudra of meditative equipoise with the hands. The way of looking is to look upwards, as at the boundary between mountains and plains. At the navel, focus on the water syllable vaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:वं,梵文罗马拟音:vaṃ,汉语字面意思:Vang). Therefore, it is also said to keep awareness in its own place. In this way also, one is liberated from faults and meditative stabilization arises. From after midnight until sunrise, during the time of earth, meditate on wind. Form the vajra posture and the mudra of meditative equipoise. The way of looking is to look straight ahead. Directly in front of one's navel, focus on the green syllable yaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:यं,梵文罗马拟音:yaṃ,汉语字面意思:Yang) or a green sphere and meditate. In this way, one is liberated from faults and meditative stabilization arises. To dispel all obstacles, assume the sitting posture of the three-pointed vajra. Meditate on the five-colored oṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:Om) at the heart or navel. Hold the breath as long as possible. In this way, by eliminating the faults of looking and meditating, and by meditating, three kinds of experiences will arise. When the first meditative experience arises, like the experience of illusion, it is like a fire spreading in a forest. For example, a forest fire starts from a small flame and grows larger and larger until the entire forest is ablaze. Then it becomes smaller and smaller until it finally subsides and disappears. Similarly, the five signs also initially grow from small to large. Then they become smaller and smaller until they finally vanish. This is also how to eliminate the faults of meditation and meditate through the two means.
