Serenity is the basis for entering Nirvana, encompassed by the virtues of the Part of Liberation. The second is that its essence is diligence in listening, contemplating, and so on. The essence of this path is the antidote that ripens the continuum, that is, the diligence in listening, contemplating, and meditating from the initial generation of the supreme Bodhicitta until the wisdom of warmth arises. The third is the mindfulness, the correct abandonments, and the cultivation of the four miraculous feet, which are small, medium, and large. Or, they are divided into four, such as the first ground. Among them, cultivating the four mindfulnesses is not necessarily entering the path of joining, which is the small accumulation path. Cultivating the four correct abandonments, which definitely enter the path of joining, is the medium accumulation path. When cultivating the four miraculous feet, it is certain that the warmth of the path of joining arises, which is the great accumulation path. Thus, there are three: small, medium, and large, or they can be divided into four: the ground of the first practitioner, the ground of faith, the Part of Liberation, and the armor practice. The fourth is the three distinctions of what is born from, what relies on, and what is focused on. Among the three distinctions of what this path is born from, what ground it relies on, and what object it focuses on, the first is that only men and women of the three continents can generate the accumulation path. It is not considered that it will arise in other beings, eunuchs, or hermaphrodites. The second is that diligently practicing yoga at all times relies on the six meditative grounds or the one-pointed mind of the desire realm. The morality of ordinary beings and other virtues that become the cause rely on the ground of the desire realm. The third is that the morality of ordinary beings focuses on the engagement and disengagement of body and speech. Those who diligently practice yoga at all times focus on the object of purification of actions, such as ugliness, or the object of mindfulness, such as charnel grounds. Other virtues that become the cause focus on the words and meanings of all the scriptures. The fifth is to abandon the gross and realize the general meaning of selflessness. What is to be abandoned is extremely gross, which is what causes suffering in samsara, is abandoned by the antidote of completely refuting it, and the two selflessnesses are realized in the manner of the general meaning by the three wisdoms. The sixth is that the basis of lineage, mind, and conduct is endowed with five qualities. Possessing the eye, clairvoyance, samadhi, and the flow of Dharma. The Bodhisattva on the accumulation path possesses the distinction of qualities.

What are the characteristics it possesses? It awakens the Mahayana lineage, generates two types of Bodhicitta, and on the basis of training in the six Paramitas, it relies on the vows of ordinary beings, guards the doors of the senses, moderates eating, does not sleep during the early and late parts of the night but diligently practices yoga, and rejoices in abiding in mindfulness, thus possessing five qualities. The first of these, although not without the discipline or vows of meditative concentration, mainly relies on any of the seven types of Mahayana Pratimoksha vows. The second is that through the power of mindfulness in respectful practice and constant practice, generally guarding the doors of the senses, all that becomes the object of the five senses, which are mainly profound and wise, is practiced by being encompassed by the Prajnaparamita, and in the vast aspect, all that becomes mainly skillful means is practiced for the benefit of others, and the aspiration prayers of the pure realm of the Bodhisattva's conduct are manifested. The third is that with regard to food and so on offered with faith, one discerns what is permitted and forbidden, knows the appropriate amount, and thinks of eating, etc., in order to nourish the countless types of insects dwelling in one's own body, and in order for the basis of Dharma practice to abide for a long time. The fourth is that during the day and night, with mindfulness, one abandons attachment to busyness and diligently engages in the yoga of purifying obscurations, such as meditating on ugliness and the immeasurable. The fifth is that in all comings and goings, such as the acceptance and rejection of body, speech, and mind, one should not be separated from the watchfulness of mindfulness, practicing what is appropriate and abandoning what is inappropriate, rejoicing in abiding in mindfulness. Furthermore, the practitioner on the path of accumulation obtains the divine eye and the five kinds of clairvoyance at that stage, and the ultimate special result is the attainment of the Samadhi of the Dharma Stream, and without moving from that Samadhi, one can enter the ocean of the Buddhafields of the ten directions, and one can obtain the opportunity to hear the Dharma from the presence of the ocean of Buddhas, as stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "At that time, from the Dharma stream, in order to obtain the peace of the Buddhas, and the vast wisdom, one will receive vast instructions." Like that. Seventh, the small, medium, and large three truths.
