Its categories are many. In order to accomplish siddhis through the means of mantras and mudras, there are the collections of mantras and the vehicle of mantras. The wisdom of deities, mantras, and great bliss are vidya. Because it is held by profound methods, there are the collections of vidyadharas. Or, because the rituals of practicing mantras cause the attainment of the fruit of vidyadhara in this very life, there is the vehicle of vidyadharas. Because the three vajras are manifested through the indivisible vajra path of skillful means and wisdom, there is the vajra vehicle. Because the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment and so forth are made into the causal path for attaining perfect Buddhahood, it is called the causal vehicle in terms of characteristics. And because the aspects of the result, such as the celestial palace, the deities, and their enjoyments, are made into the path from now on, mantras are called the resultant vehicle. Alternatively, because emptiness, which possesses all supreme aspects, is the cause, and because it is mainly taught by the Paramita vehicle, it is called the causal vehicle. And because immutable great bliss abides in the nature of the result, and because it is mainly taught by the mantra vehicle, it is called the resultant vehicle. Moreover, because skillful means are greater and more numerous than the Paramitas, it is the vehicle of skillful means. Because it is to be concealed from unworthy Shravakas and so forth, it is the secret vehicle. Because the ground, path, and result are continuous, it is called Tantra and so forth. Worldly mantras and tantras are merely mantras and tantras, so they are not included in this vehicle and collection. Third, Nature: Nature mainly shows the path and result of vidya mantras. The nature of the mantra vehicle is mainly the path of the union of vidya mantras and the result arising from it. Therefore, if the path is practiced with mantras, it is generally dependent on the union of mantras and tantras. Fourth, Division: Division: two, mundane and supramundane. Hypothetical and real, with differences, done by worldly ordinary beings. Definite entry, three realms, accomplishment of the supreme, support of the mind. Accumulation, union, path, the means of expression, including the collections. If we classify mantra tantras in general, there are two vehicles: mundane and supramundane. The former is not an unwavering state, nor is it a definite entry, and because the place and time are short-lived, it is hypothetical. The latter is the opposite of that.

Therefore, it has the distinction of being the actual vehicle. There are also three types of worldly vehicles. First, the vehicle of the worldly itself is: masters of livestock, sages, gods, spirits, secret ones, mantra practitioners, etc., created by individual ordinary people, which is the actual worldly. Second, the worldly that enters into certainty is: holders of knowledge of desire and form, and the formless, that is, those who proceed through the combination of the supreme mantras of the three realms, all of which come from the Vinaya Pitaka of the knowledge holders. The worldly that is the basis of mind is: the path of accumulation and the path of joining. The latter two also belong to the category of transcendence, and the tantras that reveal them also belong to its Vinaya Pitaka. What is done freely by noble beings also belongs to that category, but it is not called Vinaya Pitaka. Second, there are three ways to distinguish the characteristics of Sutra and Tantra in detail: Record the views of Indian masters and summarize them, distinguish the four phrases of Sutra and Tantra, and record the main content of Tibetan explanations. The first is: The difference between Sutra and Tantra, the ultimate meaning to be sought, is one and without confusion, many methods without difficulty, sharp faculties, empowerment. It means, what is the difference between the two vehicles of Sutra and Tantra? The ultimate result to be sought, even if it is only non-abiding Nirvana, is one, the entrance to the path, with empowerment as the guide, meditating on the deity, reciting mantras, etc., without being confused about the part of the method, and that part without confusion is not just one method, but in order to match the entry of the faculties of the disciples, the classification of tantras such as activities and behaviors is boundless, therefore there are many methods, and there are many methods in the first vehicle, but those all need to proceed through difficult paths such as asceticism and precepts, therefore it is laborious, the part of the method of the later vehicle is, one can practice as one wants, and obtain happiness with ease, therefore, it proceeds with ease and without difficulty, therefore it becomes a difference. Then, why doesn't the teacher teach all disciples those that are not confused about the method, are many and without difficulty? The teacher is self
